I know it's stupid and wouldn't happen, but it would be hilarious if during a renegade action Shep totally offs someone, and mumbles under his breath "Dark side points."
Garrus: "Say what?"
Shep: "Nothin'. Let's go."
Yeah, was just trying to avoid the preemptive "GRR KOTOR MORALITY" stuff.
I loved the KOTOR morality! There was one face where the your progressively grew facial hair the eviler you got. By the time you had that dark cloud at your feet, you had a sweet goatee and a pair of badass pointy sideburns.
Hahaha, I love how after the headbutt interrupt, Shepard is like "Crap...maybe I shouldn't have tried that..."
So worth it though. There should be headbutt interrupts for everything
I would've thought the (relative) lack of facepunches in ME2 would leave me disappointed, but between headbutts and defenestrations I hardly noticed.
Speaking of facepunches, I think you can only punch the reporter if you DIDN'T punch her in ME1 which is really frustrating since I always punched her in ME1 :<

No, you can punch her twice in a row. She even comments on it.

Well, shit. How? I always end up with the red/blue and "F you, I'm leaving" options with nothing in the bottom-right.

Argh can't decide between Revenant or widow for my insanity run soldier class
The widow, easily. The revenant might have a higher damage, but if you're using warp or really any type of ammo and getting headshots with the vindicator it's going to be far more effective. And the widow is just going to save your ass countless times, scions, oculus, harbinger, it's a beautiful piece of death delivery
So widow is still great for soldier class? Even without the Infiltrator's +75% damage tactical cloak? Hmm. I am in fact using warp ammo on the burst sniper and it's pretty good, I guess I'll pick widow then and grab the geth assault rifle
It's so crazy how old they are! I mean, yes, if they do a mass extinction every fifty thousand years they must be super old, but at LEAST 37 million years? Holy crap! That's a lot of mass extinctions! (740)

Which means they outnumber the current dreadnought fleet by at least 7 to 1.

Just makes it that much cooler that Shepard is the one to stop it! /sunglasses
But then you have to wonder how?
I mean it took like most of the Alliance fleet, turian Citadel fleet, and the Destiny Ascension to take down Sovereign and some Geth. Granted it was s surprise attack, but regardless there's an entire supah-fleet of these things coming. Even with a few united species it seems more than a stretch to take them on. Some wondiferous tech will probably be discovered to one-shot 'em though. :v

My main problem with this is that
Many, if not all, of the resources in planets that can be easily mined, would have been done so by the countless civilizations that have risen and were destroyed over that period of time.
The thing is, these minerals and elements don't just magically regenerate in 50k years. Even with the sheer number of planets in the galaxy to harvest; after a few dozen civilizations got wiped out you'd think scientists in the next civilization would notice that there was a dwindling amount of resources harvest and that this had been going on for some time.
Even if they have only been doing it for, lets say, 50 million years; though it is implied it has been going on a lot longer, that's 1000 civilizations to rise and fall. And not just like a single planet spreading out and figuring out the relays. Likely many situations like the one presented in the "current" time in ME where there are many sapient species that have developed space travel and have completely overtaken the galaxy.
Shit would run out fast.
Like...whole planets mined to the core.
It just seems like something that would have stuck out to archaeologists at some point, is all I'm saying.

One difference -
New civilizations are developing on different worlds. It seems the Reapers don't wipe out everyone, just the most evolved species. Earth was left alone throughout previous cullings, for example.

Well, just get an Omni-Mac and a computer virus...

Hhmmm...
Reaper Overlord: Now, the final stage of our dastardly plan! Release the... POTTASIUM DEPOSITS! NYEHEHEHEHEH!
I dunno though. Maybe some sort of terra-forming technology of the reapers? More likely an uncovered plot-hole though.

It is so fun though. First used it in the open air of Jacob's Loyalty quest and a motherfucker just...went flying.

You should really spoiler that shit man.

It's a Renegade interrupt right before that part.
Shepard gave her a pair of Irish Sunglasses
It means she had an ass on her. A genetically engineered ass. It kind of sticks out. But doesn't make up for her shortcomings all the same.
Well, if O'Reilly was, like, right in front of you. And for some reason female.
Fuck yeah.
Although they made the persuasion options pretty satisfying this time too.
SPOILER ALERT THERE ARE LOTS OF REAPERS
You dirty rotten rat. My virgin eyes burn with your corrupted spoiling.
.....
I may never play another game ever again.

hay guise it's cool to post screencaps from the ending of newly released, highly anticipated games and then act like it's no big deal!

Yes...that doesn't stop it from being any less of a stupid thing to do though.
And without context all you see is a fleet of bio-mechanical squid-lobsters. In space.
Shitty Tumblr:lighthouse1138.tumblr.com
Except it's not revealed in the first game that
In fact it's implied in the first game that without the signal from the Citadel Mass Relay they can't come into the galaxy.
This is letting us know otherwise
I'd call that a spoiler.

It's still funny, though.
