They really should have also done goldeneye but ohhh well.
they tried
Yeah, this.
Some say Nintendo was at fault, others say Activision. Whatever the case, it was basically done and there are a ton of screenshots out there for Goldeneye XBLA.

Oh well. Bummer, but stuff like that happens.
I remember there was a goldeneye source mod for the PC but for some reason nobody ever played it.
I think it might have been too buggy or something.
Perfect Dark was a better game from a technical standpoint, but it lacked a bit of the atmosphere that Goldeneye had. Also some of the really fun Goldeneye maps.
Plus it added some really stupid-broken weapons (granted you could turn those off, but still)
I like both games but I like Goldeneye a tiny bit better :P And this is coming from someone who owned Perfect Dark but *not* Goldeneye (not that I didn't rent it all the time)
It's not the shooters as much as the motion sickness.
but doesn't she not want to play Mass Effect because she hates shooting things?!
no no no
I'm bad at shooting things.
But I can make PD unbelievably easy and just play against sims and it doesn't matter if I die at all because I don't have to start over anywhere or anything. I can just play it and shoot shit.

me and my brother built this barrier for our tv to stop us from screen watching out of tape and cardboard
We used to play hide and seek in Goldeneye.
The person who was "it" would leave the room. The other three players would find hiding places around the map, then zoom the TV in on the fourth player's quarter of the screen and call them back in. If the person who was it found you, you had to try to fend them off, controlling entirely from their view.
For some reason it never occurred to us to just mine the shit out of the room they spawned in. Huh.

That sounds like a lot of fun.
Like this game I made up for Halo. You go to a flat, open area (beach preferred), everyone gets into a Warthog, and you drive into each other, trying to roll the vehicles over so the other guy falls out. If you can run him over before he gets back into his Warthog, you get a point.

That kind of reminds me of pirates for Halo3. I really, really wish more maps used the elephants. Those giant moving things that you could store vehicles in and the like. We would play on that map, no shields, pistols and energy swords only. Each team started off in their elephant and had to try boarding and taking out the other one. You could not touch ground and if you did you had to suicide with a grenade. Before the round started you could go collect warthogs and mongeese and stock your elephant with them.

Perfect Dark back in the day. Mucking around with all those funny different bots it had.
Also: "Joanna, don't do that. It makes me... uncomfortable."
you and me, Larlar
it was everything that was good about goldeneye
but better
there i said it
you can all crucify me now
Also we have a L4D mode for perfect dark. Unfortunately omegatofuninja is the one who knows how to do it, not me.

Uh-oh I accidentally deleted my signature. Uh-oh!!
Maybe now that I can own it myself, instead of sneaking in a few hours here and there at friends' places, I can suck less terribly at multiplayer.
Probably not, but it'll still be a blast.
Almost! Just switch those two qualifiers and you've got it right.
Well, you might get crucified anyway but you're exactly right.

According to an amalgamation of reviews, the internet itself also thinks Goldeneye is 0.85% better. That's almost one whole percent better!
Go. Enjoy your one-percent-lesser game.
I will enjoy the fuck out of it.
Because it's gonna be on X-Box Live Arcade.

Well, if only because Goldeneye didn't bog down the way PD did.
It's not the shooters as much as the motion sickness.
Hey, I don't remember saying that.

The grammar is so terrible that I can't take it seriously.
That shit reads like a review from the GameFAQs messageboard.
So far Xbox World 360 Magazine UK gave it a 90
