Ah yes, drive-by fireballing. That brings back pleasant memories. With enough Reds mounted up, nothing lasts long.
Oh, and the reason your minions kept leaving the Tower Heart behind is because you kept recalling them all to your side and then wandering off without reassigning some of them to it. Blaming the minions for your mistakes isn't very nice.
In fact, it's downright Evil.
I'm sure that Gnarl would approve.

So, we're nearing the end. I went with Kelda as my First Mistress so I could beef up my Brown minions. It'll be interesting to see how things go with Salamander mounts.
As to how the Empire knew you were coming... well, you'll find out Emperor Solarius's secret soon enough.
Looking forward to the grand finale. It should be good.
Yeah, can't blame you picking Fey. At least the Salamanders take the Reds from almost useless to Rolling Death Machines.
Can't wait to see the Grand Finale. Seems like it'll be a pretty meaty set, though if you're doing it all in one last go. We'll see though!
Any idea on how long a gap there might be between the ending of this one and the start of your next one? (I know what game is in store unless you changed your mind, just didn't know if you were taking a break first or not.)
Wow. I think one of the problems with the game (Might just be me since I'm not actually playing it) is that it looks like there's no real feedback on when you're taking damage. So it's like, you're fighting you're fighting, and all of a sudden, you're dead because, hey, your life bar just depleted in two seconds.
Good that you're getting more life force before next time, too, since it looks like you needed it. (Especially brown since it was -out-.)

Other than keeping a careful eye on your health gauge, no, there's no indicator that you're taking damage. And for all that he's wearing armour, the Overlord is somewhat flimsy since the endgame enemies hit really hard. Archers in particular are lethal, as you've already seen.
The last parts of the game are big on making you use everything you've learnt. Guard Markers and the art of picking up bombs with a minion and getting it to a destructible wall are practically mandatory.
And so the Overlording gig comes to an end... with a resounding victory for the forces of Evil.
A great LP. Not only did I really enjoy watching it, but it persuaded me to pick up a copy of the game which I had an absolute blast playing. Thanks for this LP, Kykla, it was awesome.
And so it ends. Gotta say, overall it was a very entertaining game to watch, even though the game seemed frustrating (if not just flawed) in some places. And just what the hell on that ending boss. I think he was being carried in it, or he turned into it, but then turned the Monocle guy into it once it ate him or something. But anyways, it was a good LP and that's what matters. As always, the ending song was wonderful.

but if they are willing to die, wouldn't they suffer a lot more when he dies because he didn't sacrifice one of them? :P THAT'S evil!

Those new mounts are so cool.
I think the makers of the game just really really hate fat people. Everybody is fat! Everybody is in your way!

Next set I'll just turn that catapult to the right and kill them ALL.
Oh and I'll farm some lifeforce.

That'll be fun to see.
After all, what are the chances that the designers of the game would have figured out that cunning players might try that.
