the only thing wrong with stranger than fiction was queen latifah's character

not because of her performance or anything

but because she didn't really serve any purpose

But seriously, see it. It's a great film and if anybody wants to know it is a fantastic date movie.

I actually saw how to train your dragon twice

once with a friend because it was hot out and the middle of the day

and it wound up being super good!

so the next time I needed a date movie and all that was playing was nothing
went and saw it a second time

I really never thought I would see that movie before it came out
    never mind twice

just got back from my Losers/Kick-Ass double feature

The Losers is the superior movie in every freakin' regard.

    I mean, I liked Kick-Ass

but only when these things were true:

No one but Nic Cage, Hit-Girl, or a villain was talking
Kick-Ass was not around his friends
A comic book reference wasn't made

The violence was rad as hell and goddamn that ending fight was brutally radical. But man the first half hour or so was painful.

Now, The Losers was just fantastic. The whole cast had this amazing chemistry and I could have listened to them banter back and forth for hours. Plus the pay-off for Jensen's niece was just the best thing.
I absolutely agree with you about Kick Ass, TLB
Why can't everyone have sensible opinions like TLB?

I want to make it big as a writer so that I can one day open my own small movie theatre. We'd do all sorts of good movie viewings as well as some new releases. and it would also have a full liquor bar.

i've come to really like making different drinks for people and i think it could be really cool to have a menu that is mostly predetermined, with a small amount of standards that people can ask for.

also, as often as possible, we would do themed cocktails for the classics being viewed at the time.

and we would film our own disclaimer to be put at the front of every movie screening saying that we realize that you're going to get drunk while you're watching a movie, but don't be a jackass or we will throw you out.

We have a nice little independent theater close to Orlando, serves beer and wines, really great menu of specialty foods as well. Two-tiered, with tables surrounding the perimeter of the theater while the floor below has recliners, sofas and love seats

It is wonderful, I wish I could go more often. I saw I'm Not There, The Wrestler and The Big Lebowski there and they were all wonderful experiences
