Dude it was obvious even before the beta period ended that Allods was racing for the bottom as swiftly as possible. Thirty dollars for a fucking bag upgrade? No sir, I don't like it.
This is old, but it's still one of my favorite screenshots from the "halcyon" days of WoW.
Yeah.
I was the first in on the fight to soak up 'dem EyeBeamz. So much Nature Resistance that hippies would wither when I walked by and flora/fauna exploded when I was near.
Pardon the poor work done with MSPaint on the screenshot. It was done 4 years ago . . lol
I just killed a Balrog in LOTRO together with the kin and because that's old material the items that dropped were useless. So I got one to spend on a useless weapon. I am now the proud owner of an "Infiltrator" ... it's a spear and it's so weak compared to lv65 Legendary Items it's almost funny.
Anyway, the weapon looks cool and together with my golden outfit I am pretty pleased with the way I look.
Hence: screenshots!
My spear lights up when I apply bleed effects (this was the sp-sh-fi-sp gambit, for those keeping track)
I light up in a bright gold from time to time. It's fitting with the storyline just getting to the Golden Host's charge on Mirkwood.
This is practically the first gambit you get, when I did it the first time I fell in love with the warden. Yes, 'This is sparta' jokes have been made before.
Anyway, you can see the textures in the background are pretty bad, I should have gone to a nicer place to fight, because Angmar is pretty bad. Still, it's about the character here.
*e: actually the whole LOTRO is starting to look slightly dated. Especially character and mob models are getting kinda old. I believe I heard something about applying Dx10 effects with the next patch, but I'd rather they'd dust off some of the muddy textures and improved upon character and mob models a bit.
No amount of DX11 will help with relatively low resolution textures and very simply character models. I've seen plenty of games that are still technically in the DX9 era of graphics engines yet still look excellent because the models maintained the right level of polygons and the textures were never too low to begin with.
I'm not saying DDO and LOTRO have poor visuals, but DX11 and other lovely tech will not fix what makes Turbine's games look a bit dated.
The BeeMobile! (Graphics were only set to medium. I'm betting high would get rid of lots of the pixels.)

Cool ride bro. I'm impressed so far with the amount of customization that extends from the character creation out into the game. APB has potential and, if for no other reason, has got good customization and personal touch goodness.
So we get stiff once in a while. So we have a little fun. What’s wrong with that? This is a free country, isn’t it? I can take my panda any place I want to. And if I wanna buy it a drink, that’s my business.

Screenshot of my first 60 paladin (which I managed to take just now because the game time that the hacker put on my original account still hasn't expired yet):
Missing the days when riding around in full T2 was a deterrent to gankers.
Not at this point. With the way things are going I imagine they will put all that event armor on the marketplace someday. Right now there is a revival of the druid rings event going on. There has not been any armor other than the imperceptible beauty stuff. Hopefully when it gets to the last of the druid rings there will be a real armor set.
old time wow was pretty fun.
I was the first horde warrior on my server to get the unstoppable force, back before they nerfed it's knockback. That thing was so broken.
I did the .05 armour quests when they were a real pain on my rogue
I did them with a real team of people from that train wreck of a guild
It took me forever to get the pants on my warlock at 80 but doing Lord V was really easy compared to trying to kill him with 9 other people at level 60
I got the staff way back and was one of the very first people to kill him
Going through my photobucket account I thought this was a neat screenshot

Allods seems to be going the classy route with its advertising. Stand aside Evony:
*that was fast*
Although the comparison isn't completely fair... at least Allods isn't stealing pictures from lingerie websites.
You sure like your pre BC sets. Spiketastic.
Yeah.

You can't unsee it now....
It's that top knot hair style. For some reason it doesn't have hair textured under the knot.
boop

There's also a lv60 Quel'Serrar and a Draconian Deflector.
I will never, ever get rid of my full set of Judgement.
The BeeMobile! (Graphics were only set to medium. I'm betting high would get rid of lots of the pixels.)
Paladin T2 sits in divine Judgement to all lesser gear sets. It shall never be undone.
I have only a few pieces of it and T1 on my dwarf paladin from the good old days, there to forever gather dust in my bank with all my other cool shit.

You should change your plate to read "Bzzy Bee" or some such.
Am I doing this right? I think I forgot to put a racial slur on her anywhere, which from what I gather you're supposed to do
$10/month or buy blocks of hours.
I don't see how it's BS. :?
Also- I will have to post up a couple of my characters too. My Gerald is PRICELESS!
Missing the days when riding around in full T2 was a deterrent to gankers.
not paying a monthly fee to play TF2 sorry
That's not true at all!
Is that at max level?
EQ2 has been slowly drawing me back in....I'm just not sure....I have a level 71 paladin.
Nope my conj is only level 64. My SK on the other hand is 90

Tried to make him as different as I could since most of my guys are normally vanilla as hell.

was usually a good enough deterrent as well.
my Darkmantle set didn't deter shit
And Valthalak is a bitch. I would go back and solo him every day if that were even possible.

some might even say it was unstoppable.
One of these days I'll get the breastplate that matches the pants... until then, still a metal wall of death with a awesome hat.
