The last time the Lions were getting rear-ended, it was right after the Scorpion Clan Coup and the Emperor dissolved the Akodo family as punishment for Toturi claiming the throne (he thought the emperor's family was completely dead- they weren't), which fucked over the Empire by putting the Matsu in charge of the Lion clan.
I've only played in one or two phalla before, but damn I love this setting so much...

It's funny. I have favourite clans in the setting, and I have ones I don't really like, but I honestly can't think of one I wouldn't like to play as in this (though I'm hoping for the crab. The big guys are just so much fun).
Day 1 will probably begin as early as Sunday night. I will be out of town tomorrow, coming back Sunday. We're still short on people, I'm hoping that over the weekend I can get 11 more people to sign up, at least.
