I'm going to pull a Will and say that being a Wrestling fan and a functional adult seems to be a grand work in Cognitive Dissonance. No, I don't hate fun. Wrestling is just for uneducated rednecks and children.
will, in case you missed my edit, I was kidding about the never wearing a suit thing.
oh yeah i had missed it. i wasn't sure because a lot of younger technical people i've known - especially west coasters - seem to be surprisingly resentful of dressing up or wearing suits.
i guess i kind of understand it on some level, but the sheer vehemence usually leaves me p confused.
Yeah, I fit soundly in that group. I tend to think wearing a suit to a technical job interview, for a position where you won't be doing any management related kind of stuff, seems a tad ostentatious. Business slacks, good shoes, and a collared shirt w/ tie seems much more appropriate to me. They always stick calc/code monkey's in the back where no one can see them anyway.

I was kinda against it until I heard more than a few women comment on how men in suits make them wet.

I was going to make a joke about Will locking the thread where grownups are obsessed with watching shows meant for little kids. Oh and also the anime thread.

So are monster truck shows, tractor pulls, and drag racing (well not so much drag racing), but my god do I love them, even as a cultured, hipsterish adult. Gotta remember your roots.
sounds like a p expensive civil case mostly though.
Yeah. I was leaning towards agreeing with you, that it's something that should be done legislatively (especially since the repeal already passed the House and only got blocked in the Senate by filibuster). But if they're abusing the law so flagrantly, rather than enforcing an unfair law, then that's a judicial issue.

every person who doesn't like an acquired taste always seems to think everyone who likes it is faking it. it should be an official fallacy.

nope. Roots are meant to be burned. Especially if you're from the south.

Also he's dead now too.
Come on, how weird was it that neighbor kids came over to his house to learn "science". That shit just don't happen.

Haha
"Mom, can I go over to Mr. Wizard's house? He shows us all sorts of cool stuff!"
"What the hell? Mr. Who? Honey call the cops right now! I knew that guy was a creeper when I first saw him."
Look I'm just saying that Mr. Rodgers singing "Won't you be my neighbor" traumatized me while I was being sodomized by my uncle kyle.

So then I was all like 'hey suits are good'!

I read "I need to jack it for an interview tomorrow" and thought you had finally made the leap into gay porn.
Yeah I can see why he didn't go by that.

I don't have a porn body
Blue had a clue for me all right, the clue was "Your uncles dick in your tiny ass until you bleed and can't tell anyone because of the shame."

the "no true scotch man" fallacy.
We should get an arranged team going sometime.
I'm sure Mr. Mcfeely delievered a lot of things to that house, like small asian children.

Everyone in here plays LoL. Even the people who say they don't, they play incognito.
"Oh ling ling you look mighty fine just like the chinamen I killed in nam..."
I can't be the only kid who was told that old urban legend about Mr. Rodgers being a sniper in vietnam.

Haha, god.
Nah, Warwick's my guy.
Though the day before yesterday, all the champions were available...I won five games in a row with Swain.

I don't think I've ever won five games in a row
