In some music I listen to, I swear I hear a telephone ringing and I look over at my phone. But no, it's just something in the music.
Drives me a little nutty.
Oh God, I hate nothing more than radio commercials that feature ambulance/police sirens. Pisses me off so much when I'm driving and I can't tell if something is coming or not.
I like the way Valve comes up with plot-scarce games and fleshes out the backstory in extra material as time goes on.
what extra materials
the Left 4 Dead Sacrifice comic and the various TF2 comics
Yeah, those. It means if you want story, you can get story. If you don't give a shit, just shoot some zombies/suspiciously identical cartoony mercenaries.
That really limits the story you can tell, and destorys pacing, but then again these are the guys who thought a silent protagonist was a good idea, so.
Current girl is jeans + t-shirt + little/no makeup
That is my type of girl
I mean don't get me wrong, around campus I see some hot outfits
But ehhh I am a man of simple tastes
Edit: And what Burnothy said. It's nice to know that you find a girl attractive when she's not trying super hard to look that way.
This is one of the reason I'm such of fan of the girl who went to Spain. Aside from the whole insanely talented/driven/intelligent/awesome person thing she has going I think she looks gorgeous in just jeans and a t-shirt. I saw a picture of her all dolled up for a friends wedding and I literally just sat there dumbfounded :P
Kind of a deliberate pacing. Focus on smaller things.
I think that there are differences in the way people act in movies from all different eras of movie making though. Early movies have the whole, "Hello! Let me tell you what is happening! What is happening right now is that I am telling you what is happening. You can see this prop, but let me tell you what it is. It is a prop!" thing going on with the dialog, and I def. have a love/hate thing for it. On the one hand its ridiculous, on the other hand it is hilarious. It isn't the actors fault either. More like the writers didn't quite trust audiences to understand what they were seeing.
Well still hate playing Warwick. Partly because I am still not the greatest on him in team fights and partially because ehh, playing a ganker loses fun when it gets to team fights. At least as Trynd, Mord, Annie, Veigar or Poppy I fill like I can contribute something to team fight more than ganking a single character.
I will admit that last game I made a few dumb mistakes as well but still even when I wasn't chasing through a team I and we were winning team fights I felt useless.
The silent protagonist is a concession to the technological limitations of the medium and the ultimately impregnable barrier between player and character
it is a rejection of the separate protagonist, whose dialogue creates another, more immediate barrier, and alao rejects any feeble attempt at enabling real player-game communication, which only serves to underline our separation and externality from the game and the artifice of the world you are observing

yeah,i get what you mean
like movies from the 50s and earlier are pretty much like plays that someone brought a camera to and recorded from onstage
60s and 70's movies, especially the action ones, strive to show situations that by todays standards are relatively mundane as very tense and pensive. which is cool

Also, Cybil Shepard was way attractive in Moonlighting, but now she is not.

Or is Dawn of the Dead just a semi-meh movie when it comes to the acting skill?
how you doin
(it's actually the approachable thing)
I agree, and in the broader sense I'm more comfortable talking to someone whose vices/weaknesses I'm aware of.
George Romero is not a good director/it was low budget.

aww don't say that it makes me feel bad for responding rudely
I believe in the album version of Opiate by Tool there is a random phone ringing in the background partway through the song.
I remember reading somewhere that it was actually some random phone ringing while they were recording, and they were just like "Fuck it, leave it in."
I always thought that was kinda neat.
particularly european aristocracy
Hey, I think I saw that one!

I'm super terrible at it. I literally pause every few minutes to do other stuff, highly inefficient really.
Here's a Spotify link for civilized people.

Seriously, go and watch a few episodes. All the hot women are in that show!

So many guys have no idea what makeup actually is and think that's the actual face.

Age, women normally get hit harder by it then men. At least in our relative belief in beauty.

An unironically great person, and diplomat.
Voted by The Guardian readership the number one 'middleclass hero'.
We have a little word for that.
