There's a D&D thread where they were talking about how you couldn't cast a black Captain America (as opposed to other racial changing for roles). They had a pretty good point due to the time period of his becoming a super hero and the military being segregated, but hey, I'd watch that movie anyway.

You could, but it'd be a completely different kind of story. Spider-Man? He's from a time and place where race wouldn't have to change the story in a massive way. Hell, it'd enhance the whole "can't catch a break" part of the character. Actually, most characters could be any race and the main story would still work. Ask DC, they've been killing characters and replacing them with ethnic stereotypes for years!

Yeah, I thought it was like, Doctor Erskine died, then Captain America got lost, so they tried to make it again and it was like the Tuskegee syphilis trials.

I don't think Cap got lost until the end of the war, but they still wanted more super soldiers. Cap never even heard of all the shit that went down until years after he was pulled from the ice, though, because they tried to cover it up as much as possible. He was pretty mad and disappointed about that.

Set in the Marvel Universe, the series takes the Tuskegee Experiments as inspiration for a tale that re-examines the history of the super-serum that created Captain America.[1] Beginning in 1942, the series follows a regiment of black soldiers who are forced to act as test subjects in a program attempting to re-create the lost formula earlier used to turn Steve Rogers to Captain America. The experiments lead to mutation and death, until only one remains - Isaiah Bradley.

Damn that is good
Is the music behind the vocals super low quality or is it supposed to sound like crap?
I think that is intentional
I like it, gives it a rough feel which is cool
So yes that's intentional
The black trial subjects were only used after Doctor Erskine died and they tried to replicate the Super Soldier serum, though.
