There's a ton of info on the game, and I don't want to reinvent the wheel. So, check out:
leagueoflegends.com, the game database provided by Riot (who make the game).
leaguecraft.com, there are a lot of fan sites out there with general information and builds. This is just one; and, it's kinda slow as shit. Regardless of where you look for builds keep in mind, most of them make assumptions that are not clearly conveyed and there are a lot that are just plain bad. Tread lightly.
KillerCodeMonkey's wiki, add your brilliant shit to it.
Game mechanic shit, stuff like how attacks and magic and fuck work.
Rune break-dancing, good info about what runes you should buy.

    Best thread.

    Odd thing happened in 5's premade last night. My team is pretty much all people trying out new chars, I think it's the game I started like 7/1/0 on Kat, but anyway we start well, but things end up snow balling v bad v quick.

    The other team begins to bro us to rub it all in. Which is odd since pretty much no one was talking in the first place. I can't help but feel we hit a matchup against a PA team.

    Oh hey I forgot I even bought Mordekaiser. I should play him more often , Im thinking Boots , FON , Ryalis , deathcap or maybe hourglass. Advice?

    Also what yellow runes should I buy for him? I have magic penetration reds and cooldown blues with health quints. Do I go armor or health regen ?

    Hextech Gunblade is your friend.

    Ideally you want to build him tough (FoN+Sunfire is a good start) And get him a Rylai's for the Health/Ap/Slow, then get him Spirit Visage to make his FoN that much more powerful, and then a Hextech Gunblade for even more hilarity. I personally love getting a Warmogs on him out the gate because he farms it so damn easily.

    final build usually looks something like:

    Warmogs/Spirit Visage
    Merc Treads
    FoN
    Sunfire
    Rylai's
    Hextech gunblade

    i'm having this fucking infuriating issue

    every minute or so i'll get maybe 10 seconds where my character stops responding to any input

    i don't think it's a network thing... there's no 'lag', as it were, and i see all animations smoothly, continue to get visible xp if i'm near dying cs, etc

    everything moves normally around me and there's no 'catchup' or anything, it's not stuttering
