Twitter is making many hints towards badge arrival around the next few days (or week), throwing this up to express how anticipated I am for the day I open my mailbox and I pull out the letter with the PAX logo on it. And to see whatever swag game/thing that may lie inside.

Ok, I'm confused...what's the thing with the barcode we printed out when we ordered our tickets? I thought that was the badge? Sorry if I sound like a complete idiot, there's just a lot of badges and cards and coins etc to keep track of.

The barcode is only for use if you need to pick your badges up at will-call, if you ordered anytime before now(ish), a shiny plastic badge will be mailed to you in the form of a standard-sized PAX-logo labeled addressed envelope. Hopefully, that mail will be in within the week (unless you're international).

So, my concern. Any idea how long it is for international? I bought my badge at the end of December, and am leaving for the US on March 5th.
International orders are not mailed out. You'll need to pick it up at will-call.
That's not 100% true. International folks can choose to pay for fed-ex shipping of their badges.
Indeed, and not only that!
I was worried that there may be issues with the said badge deliveries. Here's a quick snip of my conversation with Interactive Ticketing. I modified this to make it shorter and took out personal info. Grain of salt for interpretation, but I think it's clear enough:
Question:
I live outside the US and ordered my PAX East tickets a little while ago. I chose the option to have them shipped with FedEx, but since then I ran into issues with FedEx and I'm concerned about not receiving the tickets.
I was wondering, should I never receive the badges through the mail, can I still pick up badges at the will call line by showing my printed tickets? If not, I what are my options and how can I guarante my entry to the convention knowing that I did buy the tickets?
For example, what happens to someone who had the badges shipped but lost them before the event?
Answer:
If you do not receive your badges via FexEx, simple bring your printed confirmation (ticket) with you and you will be able to register on-site and receive your badge there.
The same would apply if you received your badges and lost them before the event.

Some people are like Slinkies. They have no practical use whatsoever,
but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.
is it very silly of me to ask the difference between red and blue badges? i feel like i've seen references to a red-vs-blue something, but don't know what that's about or if it has to do with this.

Notice the big bold words at the top of the badges?
And my friend got his in today, so that's a good sign for me since we ordered within a few days of each other.

hahah WOW no, i didn't. figured i was being silly. thanks.
Am I the only one artistic enough to make some fancy way of covering my code, and then blurred out the image after realizing it was still readable?
Is that why your whole pic is blurry? I just thought you were a horrible photographer

Nah it was just easier to take the photo again out of focus then to bother with gimp. In a way I'm happy with it as it did some funky things with the clear dice.
so shiny you can see the reflection of the thermostat on the wall! i can't believe it's almost time for pax!

So excited, got mine in the mail today! Not going to take a picture because it looks exactly like everyone else's. But my excitement levels are now officially OFF THE CHARTS.

Badges? Where we're going, we don't need badges...
actually yeah, we kinda do. roads, however, are optional.

I hope if they fail to deliver them, you would get reimbursed. The international FedEx price was around $20!
