Nagano has still only beaten it once. He's still always a threat to do well, but his recent performances have been inconsistent. He's gone out in stages one and two, but also reached the final stage once since his victory. They revamp the course after someone beats the whole thing and make it more difficult, and he didn't adjust to some of the new obstacles. I expect him to come back strong in this summer's competition, though.
In the last five or six competitions there's been a surge of young competitors who've become the "New All-Stars", headed by Yuuji Urushihara, the third man to beat the entire course and currently the last - he did it in tournament 24.
