One almost constantly looks busy. It's like every time I drive by I slip into a worm hole to the past and as soon as I pass it I'm back in normal time.
Sometimes I don't want to own a game. I just want to beat it in a week and give it back. I'm not interested in GameFly and Steam pretty much covers PC. So, hooray I still have a Blockbuster down the street. Netflix or Hulu will probably consume it soon, though. I assume this comic is more about movies.
I posted mine just a few seconds earlier. With a bit of delay after tabbing back and forth several times while making the post to make sure I didn't miss seeing an existing thread.

I have a blockbuster account which I use all the time. $40 a month and I can take two games out at a time for as long or as short as I want. I split that with my room mate so it's one a piece. I walk there and trade it in in about ten minutes.
And since they're closing their stores all over the place, I buy so many clearance sale DVDs. So many.

Yeah, they apparently wanted their mail order service, not really the stores.
We have a Blockbuster machine in a gas station here. A Redbox knock-off. All the stores I've seen are closed. Between them and Borders, lots of prime commercial space.

I miss having a blockbuster near me mainly because they have kickass sales on blu rays and games.
Sometimes, I would rent a game from them. I live Gamefly but where I live now the turnaround is way too long for it to be cost effective.

We had Blockbusters and Hollywood Video in my city, and both have closed. Now only Hasting's stands.
It annoys me, quite frankly, because I have a natural aversion to subscription-based services. What if I don't watch movies or play video games for a month? That's $8.00 hemorrhaged to no effect!
This is why I like the iTunes store so much. I don't have to subscribe to anything. I just pay for what I want when I want it!

I don't wanna kill anybody. I don't like bullies. I don't care where they're from.
This is how I feel whenever I see a Little Caesars.
When I was living on my own in an $800 a month studio (gotta love the LA area!), being able to eat one large $5 pizza as my food for the whole day was a godsend.
To be fair I ballooned up to 220 lbs back then, and am thankfully back to 180 now that I can afford a good diet.

You fuck wit' Die Antwoord, you fuck wit' da army.
Well Europe is full of wizards, so you just magic your media to you anyway.
I always feel sad when I think of the death of rental stores. It's weird that one day I'll say Blockbuster and some damn young'n will ask me what it was. Then I shall tell them a tale as if I were a mysterious cowboy.

Steam: Car1gt // Tumblr // Facebook // Twitter
Or had a way to make that work.
I think gamefly has or is going to be buying Direct2Drive.
Dunno how that's going to play out.
Yeah, but that's just PC.
Totally we-no that's pretty normal.
SabreMau > Centipede Damascus, apparently

The quick and the dead... thread.

So I went to blockbuster, rented a copy, and switched out the discs.
Sometimes I feel bad, but how many people are going to rent and play the whole way through a 60 hour game from a blockbuster?
pity me

Or deprive yourself of Crazy Bread.
I was surprised, too!
they were going bankrupt (again) but then Dish bought them
Not beeing able to use Netflix or Hulu because you're in europe.
That's right, we still have to rent our movies over here.
