oh gosh, i just noticed that, i always thought they did specific individual routines and not choreographers, like the recap clip for emmy-nominations, they showed specific routines that i assumed were the noms. and in past seasons, you could point to individual routines as emmy-nominated. weird
that's an awful lot of information to gather out of a seven episode opening season
now, film and television are very different mediums, i'll grant you that but i couldn't say definitively he just took a dump on every subsequent episode following the pilot
But consistency is basically like the one thing you need from a show, and in a short, cable series? You ain't got no excuse for dud episodes, unless you suck at your job.
Is the writing shitty? Well, you hired shitty writers. Is the directing lacking? Oh fuck, you blew it on hiring good ones.
If you're a showrunner, you literally run the show. That is your job. So when your show fails, on a fairly regular basis, well, you ain't very good at your job.
