So can I use influence to swap that wild hex on 211 from money to materials? Reading the influence action I can't tell if you can just do that or if the order of actions is essentially clearing the whole hex then repopulating it and how many colony ships I would have at the end of all that.
Alright, so I can clear the whole hex, repopulate placing a materials on the wild hex and then flip 2 of my colony ships back over for the end of the influence action. Go with that I think.
Just to clarify, if population is removed from a wild space, it can go back to any of the 3 tracks, not just the one where it was originally pulled from.
The initial missile volley takes out the ancient before battle is really begun. Take a look at my goodies, grab the best battle VP I can, place an influence counter and flip a colony ship to place a factory (I think one brown is all I get, unless there is a nice planet under the ancient).
Just so people don't get the wrong idea and underestimate missile strength, that was actually a run-of-the-mill use of plasma missiles, not lucky rolling or anything.
