Turns out I need to run all the year end closing procedures on our accounting system tonight
And since we didn't get a chance to really look over all of our discontinued inventory items, they get to stick around in the damn system for another year since they can only be removed as part of the year-end process.

Our database almost never has out of print items removed from it. So even 10-year-old entries that have been re-released countless times will stick around to clutter up searches.

hello yes are you my coworker are you super racist and awful
Thankfully we purchased a utility tool that creates an 'Archive Company,' basically just a snapshot of the company database, then moves all records past X into it. Planning to do it in the next week or so and archive everything older than 2009 so we'll at least see some performance gains from that.

Last time I checked, no. If you have working air-con and vending machines then we are probably not coworkers.
So the dang computer chip in my smartrip card stopped working and the process to get a new one involves mailing it in and waiting 3 weeks for a replacement, plus it's a crapshoot whether I get the money I already put in back in the new card. I think I had $150some dollars in there urgh. Stupid public transportation
Did you not have your card registered?
i did, but its still the same dang process. I have to have it registered for transportation reimbursment with my job, but i dunno if it tracks however much i had on there besides that. and now i have to deal with re-registering a new card blah
Yeah apparently that's a thing here in Texas. My service operates several 800mHz radio towers to provide for our communications. We were building a tower in a rural area and apparently someone hadn't told a copper thief that the power was connected. He cut into a high voltage line and fried himself into a crispy critter.
Oh well, no sympathy. How about you just don't steal things - especially things connected to incredibly high voltage electricity.
God, I really want to get moved into the corporate office and no longer run this agency.
My corporate parents have been talking about creating a corporate training center/divsion and basically making me Asst. VP. Which would be awesome, because then I get a corporate American Express and much bigger office and travel and and...
Biggest benefit would no longer have to work alongside cops and fire department and corrections and tackle violent guys on spice.

I work with a bunch of really really smart EE's and they always seem like they're having a blast
And then they try to explain a one-line diagram to me and I don't get much past power in/power out

A rule to live by: When in doubt, steal copper.

finish your resume revisions and let's find out!
I didn't have much to revise, just add! I'll send it to you when I get home from work.
I mean employers look at that sort of thing, right
I imagine not
But what would a pornstar resume look like
It's mostly an outline for the males.
Only the true pros have multiple pages.
the short answer is i got kinda side tracked there and what did you ask again?
or cider!
