I have nothing wrong with the track record of Gearbox. The only mistake they made was letting other people handle their responsibilities. The stuff they, themselves, make has always been fantastic.
So as long as they don't pawn it off to anyone else...

The Pit is not on sale because it actually IS selling. The first SWOTS game sold okay and the second was a total bomb. The Pit ain't Call of Duty but I'd wager at this point it's probably just as if not more known than the series it is a spinoff of. It is also self published while Paradox publishes the rest and Paradox goes crazy for discounting everything but their biggest hits after a couple months.
That said I am surprised it hasn't had a discount in order to encourage sales of the expansion pack yet.
So, pay day just happened, and I heard Steam was having a sale... or something. Is Civ V worth $7.50 or should I hold out for something better/cheaper? (er.. not cheaper... erm... less expensive is what I'm looking for... pay day did just happen, but I am still somewhat poor.)
I also get that I'm late to the party (doesn't the sale end soon?), so maybe I just need to jump and take what I can get?

Sequence is the first game I beat which was Kickstarted, I believe.
Kinda bummed I ended up buying Euro Truck 2. I just spend 20 minutes attempting to park for a delivery and not getting even remotely close, just doing donuts in the parking lot. It seems impossible to control.
Another item in the backlog falls! I was gifted Fez, I complete Fez, and I do mean "complete"; 100% yo. And I only had to look up like, three of the puzzles online. Which, considering one of them was figured out by the internet at large via brute force, I'm not feelin' too bad about.
Anyone on the fence about Fez, grab it when it pops up cheap again. It's brilliant; a brainy platformer that plays like Mario and Myst consummated their forbidden love on LSD and E.

just started king's bounty armored princess with the expansion units/items/etc. really like it. I had played The Legend a little bit but it was a while ago, forgot how up my alley the series is.
I almost hope warriors of the north doesn't go on sale because I'll end up just jumping to it instead of playing through all this content.
Also, spare cards: Prison Architect, Bioshock Infinite and Skyrim. If anyone is in need and fancies a quick trade for the FM2013 or Tomb Raider cards, I'm all ears.

Obsidian games aren't optimized for anything, except whatever dark machinery they have sealed in their laboratory. So yes, it'll work just fine. Or as fine as it would on anything else.
