Training's almost over. Writing the exam next Monday.
It really felt like a repeat of what I already learnt back in Alberta but at least I'm in a good group of people and the teachers know what they are talking about so it's not too painful of a repeat. When the trainers did a bit of self promotion tough, saying that training program is ''the best in the industry'', I kept my mouth shut re : this class being the same damn thing I already learnt.
I figure I have no excuse not to ace dat test.

When I was 17, the house my mom and I lived in got flooded. We got FEMA and SBA funds, and my mom was able to get the place repaired. In the meantime, we lived at my grandfather's house.
He was perpetually angry that I wasn't over at the house swinging a hammer with the contractors.

i have a long term policy of picking something stupid every single game
if somebody tries to be a bitch, they play bitch chicken... and they always lose
sometimes i feel kind of stupidly protestant-work-ethic-y. i kind of worship dedication and perseverance. also sometimes i think i have a lopsided perspective of the employee-employer relationship. some of my successful friends have told me that i am a little too thankful-to-have-a-job and i might shift somewhat once i have a nice resume and am employable.
i dunno. i don't like that i am this way i guess but it is the way i am right now.
