As testament to how memorable the character has become (a rare feat for any normal human in a Godzilla film), Serizawa is often referenced in spoofs of the kaiju genre. Most notably the anime mecha comedy series Mobile Police Patlabor, and the Tokyo Grows episode of the US cartoon Pinky and the Brain. Even in Pacific Rim his name is used to measure the danger level of Kaiju.
Hey guys I really wanna watch some godzilla to get ready for this movie.
What are some really good godzillas that I can look for for cheap?
The original Gojira is on Hulu, definitely watch that one rather than the Americanized version that stripped out all that pesky nuclear stuff and added in an American character for some reason.
I haven't seen any of the others in a real long time, but I remember the tone for many of them being a bit....different than that in the first movie.
Yeah Gojira is a very different beast (hehe) than pretty much every other Godzilla movie, but definitely worth watching. For more giant monsters fighting each other I'd recommend Ghidrah the Three Headed Monster, Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla, Terror of Mechagodzilla, Godzilla vs. Mothra... I should probably just stop before I name almost all of them.
I forgot they'd said what time it was gonna be up so when this thread showed new posts my hopes got up. At least now I have a specific time to wait for.
would we classify this as a GIANT MONSTERS ALL-OUT ATTACK
Possibly!
An epic rebirth to Toho’s iconic Godzilla, this spectacular adventure pits the world’s most famous monster against malevolent creatures who, bolstered by humanity’s scientific arrogance, threaten our very existence.

Those seem to be generic responses. Anything you put in, you should try a couple of times, to confirm you get a consistent result.
I think it just has generic responses to nonsense keywords
Kinda neat.
And Bryan Cranston is "Joseph Brody".
Why I fear the ocean.
I think it translates into "Godzilla is coming"? That was the translation I found.

That shot of the city while they drop in is haunting
Couldn't stand Cloverfield (though only part of it was that)
no tune, just this rising chorus of wailing voices
Yeah, the HALO drop looked so tense even in a tiny Youtube window.
Really fantastic directing there.
2001: A Space Odyssey has a bunch of that kind of music when shit is going crazy.
