I know Sorkin loves himself retrospective framing, so that makes it much easier. At its simplest, they could actually show him giving the speech and then go back and show the event. I think any other attempt to tell his life chronologically is either cliche or was already done and done well in Pirates of Silicon Valley and Triumph of the Nerds.
