my mobile usb charging pack from anker is wonderful. only complaint is it takes forever (for the charger, not the devices it's charging) to go from ~75% to 100%.
these days in devices with rechargeable batteries the controller usually charges quicker for 0-80 then deliberately slows down on 80-100 in order to go easy on the battery and extend its working life.

so those motherfucking contractors who laid tile in my house then broke a piece of tile in the laundry room they weren't working in? Then assured me they'd take care of it and just run new tile in there? They had to wait for some t-mold to come in for the floor joinings and they had the nerve to call me today and try to get me to pay them $200 under the table to do the laundry room after THEY fucked up my floor. I went from nice and easy going to Ludious in about 30 seconds. I just called their boss and threw them under the bus hard fucking core.

every year i say i want to spend a little more time at the con but after this year i'm pretty comfortable saying that's no longer a goal. i feel like i saw a huge portion of what there was to see in just an hour or two. not a lot of stuff interested me. the crowds were insane- it felt more overbooked than previous years. i am not interested in waiting 4+ hours to watch a video or play a short demo. even riot- which produces a game i love- held no appeal for me because it was just such a sardine can of a shitshow.
i will still buy badges for those PAXes i attend but i no longer really aspire to 'make this the year i get my money's worth for my badge'
