I must admit, I was tempted to contact Natik when the Beasts were outed. I had the Eye of Ra and the Feather of the Phoenix at the time, and I figured I'd easily be able to pretend to be a network member right until the end. But I had scruples. Also, I didn't want to earn several years' worth of first day grudge votes.
Watching Nerissa in action has been pretty amazing. She sure plays for the win ruthlessly. I'm glad I happened to land in the good guy network in this game.
Too bad she was indirectly responsible for my death, as I understand she could have prevented it.
Ruthless, sure, but is it smart evil, or retardo-stupid goodie?
I was basically proven innocent to her, with a completely traceable ability log, and I have been working with her ALL GAME. Then, instead of asking for my arrow, she frikkin' STABS ME IN THE BACK "to tie up loose ends" and because "I was acting erratic".
I wonder if instead of taking my offered artefact she had me killed and then used an arrow to get the other tengu's artefact.
Quite possible.
The "reason" she wanted thorgot dead was because he might have been a Tengu. The night before, she wanted to do that vote switch plan to kill Thorgot, WHO THOUGHT HE WAS GOING TO GET SEER'D, but it was flubbed up by Shinto's closing shenanigans.
That was the same night that ONE TENGU DIED, LEAVING ONLY ONE. If he knew he was going to get seered, he would have tossed his artefact over to his partner, and it would've ended the game. Instead, the tengu only died with one artefact, meaning Thorgot is most likely innocent, and I told Nerissa as such.
Nerissa also told me that the network was going to use the Eyes to find the tengu faster. Yeah, thanks for keeping your EYE on me, Nerissa.
I was the one keeping Nerissa in check, in case she accepted an offer to turn Tengu. I was thieving her that night as well.
Then she had me killed, and swept the evidence under the rug. O_o

This makes sense. I was the tengu who died that night (I am pretty convinced that I had been seer-ed). I tried to unload the wing on serveral people, Nerissa being one of them. She said she was interested and that she would get back to me. I sent in the trade PM just in case she came around.
Then I died, still holding the wing.

That was me. I was trying to find one person in the network to talk to, because I was suspecting Nerissa. Too bad I got the one that was dying and had the badge. :P

The arrows are really fun.
Out of all the artifacts I think they make the game the most unpredictable.
This makes sense. I was the tengu who died that night (I am pretty convinced that I had been seer-ed). I tried to unload the wing on serveral people, Nerissa being one of them. She said she was interested and that she would get back to me. I sent in the trade PM just in case she came around.

You weren't. You essentially gave yourself up for free.

Hm. I thought for sure that cheez had the eye. His one off vote for me that was not followed up by any bandwagoning looked like a signal for the scythe.

I think the majority of action is taking place behind the scenes.
I hope someone saved some of the PMs and whatnot so we can delight over the political maneuvering.

Yeah, me too. I can't wait to actually know what's going on. There's only so much I can figure out from unexplained artefact trading.

I've still got my PMs saved in .txt format
(So everyone can bare witness to what an incredible dupe I was).
I'll try to post them at the end of the game (still rooting for the tengue!).
My PMs with Nerissa was a careful game of cat and mouse, no one giving any ground, always stalking, always preying.
Then she has someone shoot me from the grassy knoll. :x
We tend to get a little worried when you try to grab evil artifacts out from under us. And let's be fair, we should have killed you earlier if nothing else.

You should thank Nerissa.
See.
This grabbing evil artefacts from under you thing.
WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?
I knew nothing about ZZzulu. Nerissa told me nothing.
I just picked someone at random to steal from, because I was looking for someone in the network I can talk to, because I believed Nerissa was acting strange.
And besides, now think real hard about this: IF I knew Zzulu was evil and going to die, there was NO CHANCE for me to steal an evil artefact, BECAUSE the steal action happens AFTER the scythe action.
Kill me earlier? I gave Nerissa a completely traceable log of my thefts, with no deceptions. I wouldn't have told Nerissa about the Zzulu thing if I was trying to hide my "evilness". I even offered to take the part of a sacrificial thief-seer, by stealing from whoever you suspected and having the eye seer me each turn.
So sure, I'd like to thank Nerissa...for being the evil Tengu-helping wench that she is. :x
I guess I should also thank you guys for killing me instead of kindly asking for my arrow, which I would have so willfully given up. Now the Tengu has it, as Nerissa planned.

Ruthless...or evil. Or both.

Damnit.
Sigma Cancri
?
That was the secret network code :P
In any case, I really want Nerissa to get killed off, but my bet's on Raakam.
I stole it from FWD.
I meant currently.
I meant you should ask FWD if he gave it away before he died.
If not, then you should ask chamberlain if he had it before he died.
It not, then the last Tengu has it.
I did indeed have it before I died. Got it from FWD when we killed him.
Go, my tengu brother, make me proud!
Alas!
You had the scythe?
I do believe you are lying.
I see no reason to doubt him.
Arrow through the heart!
It's sad I've totally lost track of this game. Not like I ever did much of anything with no toys and what not.
I hope someone saved some of the PMs and whatnot so we can delight over the political maneuvering.

I berated my partners. Also learned why Squashua always complains about random people PMing him on the first day. It's annoying, stop it!

What he really did was take off my pants...and...oh god OH GOD
And yeah, if Nerissa was evil, it'd be the funniest thing ever.
I'd laugh my way to the grave...hey, wait. :x
Who started the movement to off me, anyways?
