Where there once was no wall, now one has been erected
And there's a lot of dirty laundry in our past
AND our present!
Instead of a pantry, we kept the laundry closet since he was kind enough to build the exhaust, extra gas line and water hookups in, and we just extended our kitchen into what was supposed to be the dining area, hence why the fridge and those extra cabinet countertops are built on wood instead of tile.
So its an 1100 square foot, 3 br 2 ba apartment with laundry, a jacuzzi tub and excellent views right off the A and the 1.
I live in a unicorn.

Argument by analogy is both powerful and intuitive - but good analogies are difficult, and even a good one is always a risk of derailment
It behooves both interlocutors to stay on track and only discuss the analogy insofar as it relates to the main discussion (and, frankly, just ignore bad analogies as much as possible).
i am an analogy terrorist
i come in and throw as many random obfuscating analogies in the air as possible, like sepia, then run away laffing furiously
I personally think it is great, though its not exactly kitchen tile.
Back when the columbian drug dude lived here, he converted our kitchen into a laundry room, and that was the tile he used.
The kitchen was in the other apartment that he connected to the main by taking the entire wall down between them.
Summer isn't the biggest fan of the tile, but she hasn't commented on it in a while so I think it has blended into the background at this point.
Columbian drug dude makes me think of a cocaine golem...
Was the previous tenant an intelligent contruct made entirely from congealed cocaine?
Never met the guy, but I am going to say... maybe?
He held some of the most ridiculous parties in this place, or so I have heard from my neighbors... like mountains of coke and tons of hookers kind of things.

You know you've made it big when you rent whores by weight.
i wasn't implying that you were being negative, but your defensiveness is probative evidence that it was an insincere remark and you hated it all along

It's been a great addition to our home... only problem is that Summer and I love overfizzed seltzer so much that we blast through 1-2 of those cans a week (15 bucks a pop). This has been less than ideal for budgetary reasons. Also, since buying those canisters puts money into the israel/palestine conflict I have moral reasons to be sad they were getting nearly 100 bucks a month out of me.
There are companies that make modified bits of hardware that let you hook up other CO2 containers, and then sell paintball canisters to replace the locked-in sodastream canisters. But paintball canisters cannot be refilled in Manhattan due to laws regarding pressurized things. So having to go back and forth all the time to get my gas would have driven me nuts.
So I went another way.
I mean, that looks normal enough right? But whats that red handle off to the side?
It costs 25+ tax to refill this monster, and it has anywhere from 25-30 refills worth in it.
I think I just won at sodastream.
Did Oscar the Grouch put up much of a fight when you stole his garbage can?
