I don't see how adding a line to the effect that the swearing tic is extremely rare would have made the episode any less funny, and it would have made a fair difference to tourettes sufferers.

Why wouldn't they?
The Tourettes people I mean, not the ones talking about TFS.
The article does point out the merits of the episode however, it seems that they only wanted to make a minor complaint about the episode which annoys me.
And this statement "For viewers less familiar with the symptoms of this neurological disorder, the misleading take away message couldn’t have been clearer – unless you curse, you don’t have TS," is stupid because they showed in the episode that cursing is not the only symptom.
They barely showed it because it's a comedy show.
The show does not need to tell you all the infomation.
You can look that up on your own, like I did, if you wanted to.

I'd go so far as to say TFS was being a little pretentious.

I think that TFS can ego search pretentious and it'd probably work out the same way.

Humor can be dissected as a frog can, but dies in the process.
There are only two episodes of anything that have made me laugh for more than a day and they're both South Park episodes.
The first one was the Russell Crow episode when he beat up everything and the second was the Tourettes episode.

I nearly spit out my coffee.
Thank you for putting a staggering load on our servers.
The Tourette Syndrome Association seems to agree with you.
I knew they would say something about the episode.

You're welcome
somebody has to run the faucet every once and a while, keep the tubes unclogged
Who is close to Long fucking Island?
It was just an affirmation of what Tube was saying. It wasn't supposed to be surprising.

This sums up everything nicely.
I don't know if I'm an OK guy.
But it doesn't mean I have to care

You're missing the point though aren't you.
You know how to diffuse any situation.
I do now thanks to this episode

So sorry.
I need my own thread.
Where I will not be judged for how drunk/high/hyphy/thizzed out I am.
But I saw this SP episode on the night it aired and I enjoyed it and whatnot.
