Did this test really just compare me to Mr. Darcy?
Oh fuck me.

Liiya, I don't know how to tell you this.
But I am the Mr. Darcy.

Hey thread, is it normal to be all anxious that a cute girl I bump into pretty much daily on my commute, who has been returning my smiles and who I gave my number to when we struck up a nervous conversation finally like a week ago when she told me kind of gushingly that she thought I was cute but she has a boyfriend, but she wanted my number anyway and I said we should maybe get coffee sometime... hasn't been in touch? I don't really know what to make of all this but I generally try to commit to not being an awful person.

Other things it compared me to.
Moriarty.
Hannibal Lecter.
Cassius. Fucking Cassius.
Rosencratz and Guilderstern.
Gandalf the Grey.
And....Horatio Hornblower.

You just let it sit there and the fruits of the labor will bear themselves in time.
EDIT: Just so you don't feel as bad, I mean the current relationship can't be that healthy if she is entertaining the idea of other people

I find it hard to believe that Gandalf the Grey would have time to take a Myers-Briggs test.
Plenty of time while he smote ruin on the mountainside.

Felt conflicted or just wanted a friend, then either felt guilty or boyfriend was jealous. Either way, don't think to much about it cause the ball ain't in your court, really.

Although I will say one of the more agonizing things about OKC is having a response from a person, then responding to that, then seeing them online and....nothing happens.
On another note, I wouldn't say they are hard to resist, Liiya.
Impossible, maybe.

No, Munkus, you are the Darcys.

It's hitting me that I'm starting to move into a point where at least a decent chunk of people would start progressing toward sex
I've never done anything more than fully clothed heavy petting and the idea is kind of freaking me the fuck out
Maybe I'll be lucky and she's just as intimidated by the prospect as I am and we can take our sweet ass time
This is the right attitude to have in any kind of relationship progressing towards sex, regardless of experience levels.
Don't get into the mindset of thinking there is anything expected of either of you, or that there is a "right" way to do it. Do what feels right for both of you, when it feels right for both of you.
personally I think everyone should wait to have sex until they've had at least three kids

I'm just shocked that the guys it matches me with are either sociopaths, psychopaths, traitors, characters that die offscreen, Mr. Fucking Darcy, and Horatio Hornblower.

Search for Myers Briggs Test on google, take the stupid thing, click on the 'self awareness and personal growth' thing, then scroll down to the fictional characters.

Oh God damn it:
Personal relationships, particularly romantic ones, can be the INTJ's Achilles heel. While they are capable of caring deeply for others (usually a select few), and are willing to spend a great deal of time and effort on a relationship, the knowledge and self-confidence that make them so successful in other areas can suddenly abandon or mislead them in interpersonal situations.

ENFJ
Extravert(11%) iNtuitive(25%) Feeling(38%) Judging(67%) You have slight preference of Extraversion over Introversion (11%)
You have moderate preference of Intuition over Sensing (25%)
You have moderate preference of Feeling over Thinking (38%)
You have distinct preference of Judging over Perceiving (67%)
but I could easily see myself as an introvert some days, I think it depends on what kind of day you're having!
Apparently that is the same as Ned Stark, so I am happy.

Mine says, in short, "Hey asshole, you are damn good at your job, and can do amazing things if you can stop being such a dick. By the way, romantic life? Fuck that and fuck you! Get back to work you horrible person, all that matters is results, and anybody that disagrees can fuck off! It's ok, because while you are an unloved asshole, you are an effective unloved asshole. Unless you are doing a job you hate, then are just an asshole."

So why is everyone mentioning their Myers-Briggs results now? I haven't even taken that test so I have no idea what the hell is going on!
I don't think I've ever gotten the same answer twice and I've taken it like four or five times so I wouldn't worry about it much, s'just kinda fun.
Same here. The only letter that stays consistent for me is the "I", because I'm a misanthropic cave monster.
Realizing lately that I don't really trust or respect basically any of the moderators here. So, good luck with life, friends! Hit me up on Twitter @DesertLeviathan

I mean, any version of it taken online is not going to be valid
It's considered a somewhat valid test, but it has to be properly administered, which definitely doesn't involve taking it online
