So this is weird. SSR gohan, an INT character, uses AGL awakening medals.
Is that a thing for other SSRs, using medals not of their class?
Edit: only found this out after doing the level two Shenron "I want to strengthen an INT character" wish. Kind of annoying.
Edit2: and now I'm out of collectable dragon balls, super.

Not sure if this has been posted yet, but I found it while searching for info on that rare Dr Gero medal you get for beating the currently available storyline.
Alright, my friend grabbed me at a convention and forced me to install this. I added everyone in the OP. Except that @WeedLordVegeta@No Great Name and @WheatBun01 all seemed to be full up. If you want to make a space and add me, that'd be great.

Expect one from Pomgran
Edit: never mind, I didn't think weedlord added me to the op.
Edit2: on actual inspection it seems he didn't and you found my id by reading. Also good.
I grabbed everyone's numbers in the thread that weren't in the OP.
Also sent them to him in a PM so he could add them if he wanted.
Edit: Does anyone know if there's a reason to keep guys with the same name around? If they're different types (STR/AGI) maybe?

If they're different types and you need to fill a gap or maybe if they have different link/passive skills.
In other news I now know the exact dollar value I am willing to ascribe to having Perfect Cell in this game, for dignity's sake I will not say.
But I'm happy cause he's my favorite character and his super is a kamehameha that pulls back the camera to an explosion big enough to be seen from space.
I feel like I'm missing something here...enemies are getting stronger really fast but there's no real way to improve my team in comparison. Missions basically don't drop guys to train with, and when they do they're worth 100 exp out of the tens of thousands that you need. Awakenings require 50 medals and I have like 1-3. I tried going back to do Hard mode of early missions and even those are just barely doable at this point. What am I supposed to be doing here?

As for levelling up, the vast majority of EXP from training doesn't come from the N-ranks you feed to your dudes. It comes from expending training items and using the special training areas (which give you bonus exp times however many units you're using as fodder). Feeding 5 Ns to one of my SSRs doesn't even get me a level. Feeding 5 Ns + using 5 training items + using a special area usually nets me around 10 levels currently (my Piccolo and Bardock are in the upper 30's - lower 40's). You'll want to use your friend-point summons to get a bunch of dudes you can use as fodder so you can get the maximum bonus from using a special area.
If you try and get Awakening medals just from story quests and event strikes, it'll take you forever. You need to do the Awakening medal events that happen every weekday. It cycles through all 5 types and every enemy in the stage matches that type, so you can just build a team using the type that's strong against it (so build a TEQ team if you want to grind the AGL Medal map) and easily rack up a bunch of medals. If you've got a team full of SRs then hard mode won't be an issue either. I've even completed Z-Hards with an SSR or two in the mix.
Also, if you haven't done it already, you should summon Shenron as many times as you can. "I want a stronger team" will give you a variety of very rare Awakening medals, and "I want more allies" will give you 10 dragon stones.
Logging in every day also really helps you acquire consumables and dragon stones. You don't even have to play, just keep that log-in streak going. I just got 3 dragon stones and a Supreme Kai medal just for logging in for 30 days straight.
With a couple of exceptions due to weird difficulty spikes for particular missions, I've been breezing through the storyline.
I've already done those first two wishes, yes. I've been saving up to do the 10x summon, but it rarely gives me 5 guys of the same Type to use for that bonus. I guess I'll just start tossing whatever in together. I haven't really used any items, and only used an area thing the one time I did have 5 of the same Type.
So I guess it's time to grind daily quests for awakenings instead of actually advancing through the game...this really is just like Puzzle & Dragons...

They don't need to be the same Type.
Feeding dudes who are the same Type does give you a slight EXP bonus, but the EXP you're getting from just those dudes is negligible. Just throw any old N-ranks in there.
Alright, guess that's good to remember. In PAD it's a very noticeable bonus so I was kinda trained to stick with that.
So far I really only have one team. SSR Vegeta PHY, Zarbon PHY, Gohan INT, Nappa INT, 1st Cell AGI and a random EXTREME Saibaman AGI.
Vegeta gives a bonus to phy/int/agi which is the only buff where I could make an entire team at Rare or above and get the full bonus. I decided to give the summoning a shot and got SR 2nd Cell STR, who gives a bonus to STR cards, so I might try to make a team like that...but even then I only have 5 STR guys, and had to throw the other Cell in at the end.
A decent way to powerlevel is to z awaken normal guys and then feed them to your other mens. It only costs like 9 medals total and gives them a bigger EXP bonus

It's good to note that with this, using the same colour z-awakened partners as the card you're training does give a substantial exp bonus (+44k versus about +29k per fed card).
I don't even have enough medals to awaken normal cards. I saved some of the first ones they give you, but they're all stuck at 20 and have been replaced by now.

the weekday medal "events" are pretty good at farming awakening medals. you also get cheevos for doing each daily awakening event on hard 5 times.
I didn't even know it was tracked anywhere. Took me a while to find where it was. So now my new problem is that Awakening SR cards costs 250k Zeni. And maintenance, of course.

Using the higher tier awakening medals costs that much, yeah.
You can partially awaken them with the common medals for much cheaper and still give them a small status boost.
But yeah, fully Z-Awakening SRs (and especially SSRs) costs quite a bit of zenni.

fortunately for @Reynolds, the weekend event is Mr Satan, the Moneygician!
i've been having mixed luck on the multisummons. last one i got an SSR Piccolo and three SRs. overall i have an SSR Trunks, SSR Goku, and SSR Piccolo. unfortunately, none of them have decent links...
and i'm at the point where i'll need to start grinding Z-Hard levels to get stones.

More SSRs than I got! My two are Teen Gohan and Bardok, who don't really work well together, only getting Saiyan Warrior Race. I'm waiting to see if we get the guaranteed SSR event that Japan got.

yeah i probably should've held on to the stones until a good event rolled around, but man i just love having Goku kamehameha a random meteor and getting them cards :P
Alright, got my Bardock all Awakened and on my team. Much better than that Saibaman I was using.
So how do I get more copies of Bardock to drop to try to max out his Super Attack? I wound up with one more while getting his medals. Just a random drop in those areas?

I think you just keep doing the Last Battle mission.
Edit: another question regarding that storyline, which mission am I supposed to spam through to get bubblecar freiza?

Yeah.
But Teen fucking Gohan.
Teen Fucking Gohan.
I've got SSJ2 Goku and Final Form Frieza as my SSRs. But I trained up Normal Form Frieza and Prince Vegeta. Surprisingly, Prince Vegeta has a link with both Frieza and nearly every Sayain.

this is also a repeat event, so if you completed it before you can just run the last stages over and over
Do we know whats after Cell?
Oh man, awakened saibamen would be really nice for levelling dudes up
If this information I found on reddit about version differences is accurate, the next SSR draws will feature Golden Frieza and Super Saiyan God Goku
Pretty sure it's just the boss of the first stage, but yeah.
Still no SSR.
Fuck you RNG!
RNG here stands for "Random N-character Generator"

My first multi-pull got my SSR SSVegeta and a few other SR cards, so I'm fairly happy.
