I think I figured out one of the minor things bugging me about Battlefront.
We've had it all before, we had Hoth, we had Endor, in 2 games already. Half the reason BF2 was as fun as it was, was they dropped a TON of prequel stuff in it, a few months before the prequels had even hit.
While not really spoiling anything by doing it, it was still great to mess about on Geonosis and fight hordes of Droid Army, ( the movies being terrible shortly after not withstanding)
With how close this was to Force Awakens, they should have done similar.

Haha yeah, the game not only does a great job of making you feel like a hero but also making you feel like a hapless goon who is no match for those heroes.
In other news y'all should play the other modes if you get the chance, there's some neat stuff in them that shows how much care and detail was put into this game.

I'd be shocked if the DLC wasn't force awakens stuff, or at least material that bridged the gap. Jakuu is out next week for the pre release lot and we're all getting it on the 8th.

The elite clone trooper squad might be the best thing about the whole clone trooper cartoon, and that is saying a lot.
The scene where the captain is just unloading shit on droids firing weapon after weapon after weapon is amazing.
I also like how they actually use what appear to be real military signals.
Humor can be dissected as a frog can, but dies in the process.

Rebels isn't as good as Clone Wars was, it starts off kind of bad. It is getting much better though.
Clone Troopers are competent badasses because they were literally manufactured to be that.
Also, realistically, because there hasn't been anywhere near as much mainstream media focusing on and around Stormtroopers.
