I quite liked Hearthstone, but I don't think I'll ever really fall for a CCG again. I've only ever really gotten hip deep into one once before, way back when Spellfire was TSR's attempt to create their own MTG.
I liked Spellfire. The joy of ripping open a booster pack and finding a rare you need is a heady feeling, but it isn't particularly healthy. I think I still have the cards upstairs somewhere in a shoebox.
I sometimes think I'd really like an official app to play Netrunner online, but there's already a couple of fan-made ones that are OK and I never use those, so I guess it'd sit unused for the most part, like the boardgames apps I bought and played a couple of times and then abandoned because what I really like is playing with people.
And crushing them, obviously. Online, you can't see the hope die in someone's eyes as you reveal that remote they never checked on turn two was the winning agenda.
