Wah wah waaaah
Humor can be dissected as a frog can, but dies in the process.
So, calming down for a moment, this episode raises a serious question.
Assuming Eyeball's account is accurate, and Rose really and truly did shatter Pink Diamond... When did that happen? Before she bubbled Bismuth, or after? Because the implications of both acts change significantly depending on the answer.

I imagine
we're going to get an infodump or at least flashbacks mentioning it in tomorrow's episode
how much longer are people going to keep saying rose is pink diamond? I'm not saying ruby's account is necessarily 100% truth, but it seems pretty hard to believe they would mistake one gem for 2 gems, even with how dumb they are.
God, the moment when Steven says Rose could never shatter anyone and he just looks towards the the gems and you can tell they know the truth and it just hurts.

I wasn't certain whether Garnet was looking back towards Steven, like the secret she had been helping to hide was just revealed, or towards Pearl, as if looking for answers.

Let it go
Even after we see Rose do it, people are gonna cling to it.

Oh yeah, Garnet joined late so it's entirely possible she also didn't know, probably same with Amathyst. Pearl knew probably.

I don't think it is
The way that everybody seems to be talking about it I think Pink Diamonds assassination must have been huge news and common knowledge among loyalists.
The rebellion was already in full swing when Rose shattered Pink Diamond.
-Jasper was made as an emergency response to the rebellion
-Eyeball asks Jasper where she was when Pink Diamond shattered, suggesting Pink Diamond was alive at the same time Jasper was fighting in the war
This sort of implies to me that Rose "taking things too far" was the thing that escalated the war and caused the Diamond Authority to deploy the Corruption weapon. Really interested to find out where Bismuth and the Breaking Point fall into the timeline.

I do wonder if
Rose saw the breaking point as M.A.D and regretted her decision to shatter pink diamond ...
Or Rose was forced into a no Compromise scenario and had to shatter pink diamond, thus forcing her to compromise on her beliefs.
I would bet it is the former.
Rose having shattered a diamond also gives hella explanation for why Yellow Diamond has such a personal grudge against the Earth.

Well, I mean,
It's only been in the past handful of episodes that that was confirmed. It's not weird that people would suspect Rose Quartz, a superpowerful Pink Gem, would be Pink Diamond, a character who was only explicitly referred to as her own separate entity yesterday.
The rules of narrative conservation lead people to assume a character we knew existed all along (Rose) and a character we long suspected existed (a fourth, pink Diamond) to be one and the same. It's been a fairly logical conclusion until the past two episodes. Last episode cast doubt, and now this episode seems to totally confirm that Rose and Pink Diamond were two different people. But it's not odd it'll take people awhile to abandon a really convincing, interesting theory. Of course this is also interesting, because it paints Rose as a hypocrite. It explains the tiny hints of guilt and self-loathing we got in her flashbacks with Greg.

Or it could be
That shattering Pink Diamond is what caused the corruption, we only know that there was a light in the sky, Steven assumes that it was a weapon from the Diamonds it could have been Rose on the moon shattering Pink Diamond

the other diamonds would have to know about it ahead of time to announce the retreat
I actually just screamed, "What the fuck?!" at that ending
I expect that he's gonna learn how to breathe in space, leading to more Lion-space stuff.
+1

nah, Peridot is a thinker. She'd want an accelerant or a mind bender like cocaine or LSD...
That said, I'm pretty sure she'd be acting like a cat...

Well.
I would put down all the dollars that it's the next episode and Steven spends most of his time in his protective bubble.
Navy and Leggy especially
