In today's Shutdown Fullcast, Jon Bois' question hot take from twitter leads to some amazing conclusions.

Man as much as it would crush me to have Jon Bois be my enemy, I could at least take solace in the knowledge that he knew who I was.

I worded that as carefully as I could to keep from confusing you!

His hot take is: "The NFL should get rid of the draft. Parity is for suckers." And it spawns an incredible conclusion and hilarity ensues.

Humor can be dissected as a frog can, but dies in the process.

Watching this is the run, man, if Vinny just started holding up or down it would be like a whole new game for him. I'm guessing Dan and him are most used to 2D fighters because they aren't using that 3rd D at all. Soul Calibur is built around side stepping being a core part of the game's fundamental balance and rock paper scissors system so it really distorts the game and character balance to play so linerarly.

Vinny was doing a lot of dodging in earlier games (it's why he was able to stay somewhat competitive with Dan despite never having played before) but I think he's so focused on trying to play the characters now that he forgets he can do that.

To be fair it's usually pretty hard to get used to using that third D. Takes a lot of practice.

It's really hilarious if you have even passing knowledge of CFB. Ryan Nani has the best metaphors, often making insane biblical references.

So, are we still bagging on folks who bought Winrar, because I'm listening to LMTYAHS, Earth-C, episode 07
Julie, did you really go to wikihow to figure out a can opener?

Are you talking about a Swiss Army knife kind of can opener or the one that you turn the handle to open one?

Hmm, some of the best character moves are sidestep attacks,
but maybe that isn't the case with original soulcaliber

    It was surprisingly helpful!

I honestly like wikihow because I'm a visual learner, most of the time they have alternative solutions for the same issue, and it's not a poorly shot video that I have to endure compared to some silly yet clear images I can scroll through.

Basically for practical tasks, yeah I freely admit to using wikihow every now and then.

A crank can opener is like, the most intuitive thing to use in the world.
