I'm trying again to play Injustice 1, because it was free on PSN long ago and I snagged it
Why am I having so much trouble with the directional controls?
It feels like, if I'm not moving the stick at exactly a 90 degree angle left or right it will read it as a crouch or jump
It is insanely picky about this

Why are you using a stick
I bought Mortal Kombat X on Xbone because it was on sale and barely played it because the stick and dpad sucked. I got Injustice 2 on ps4 and haven't touched a stick the entire time

in DC news, the first trade of green arrow is a real good lookin thing
the two artists (otto schmidt and juan ferreyra) have pretty different styles but both have just the most fantastic, moody colors
both are also doing my favorite action sequences that I've read in rebirth (outside of batman's inaugural plane-surfing)--not because they're high concept, but just for how beat-by-beat they go with the blows and arrows, without ever becoming rote. it's like the martial arts movie equivalent of ollie's arrow-fu, where every arrow's nock and release is deliberate, and sails through a tangible space. it's not something I need from every comic but I love it here
also he's fighting a literal offshore banking battleship, which is sweet

find a quick four hit combo you can hit reliably a hundred precent of the time that knocks down, not back, and spam the hell outta it
I just had to do a floorbounce into uppercut juggle over and over to beat him
I beat him on the third try but I'm pretty sure the game made him easier each time I lost
