Is it an unwritten rule that rogues have odd little macro add-ons? I ran an Old Hillsbrad with a rogue who, I kid you not, had some sort of emote for every goddamn keystroke. The weird thing was that he didn't suck, which usually goes hand in hand with the annoying macro. So confusing.
The worst are the Hunters who leave the emotes for feed-o-matic turned on ("Huntard feeds Boar a [Cured Ham Steak]. Yum!" x5, thanks for letting me know), or Warlocks who have to say something every time they summon a demon or their mount (Is that Necrosis? It's fucking annoying whatever it is). Bonus points if they do it in /yell.

I'm gonna have to second this.
I don't need to know every time you call forth DARKSABER (or whatever his/her name is) "From the very edge of the Abyss" (tm, but not The Abyss, James Cameron (tm)).
Just summon your fucking mount and let's go do this shit.

First they came for the Muslims, and we said NOT TODAY, MOTHERFUCKER!
One of our rogues has a kick macro that is like "Clii kicks Kael'thas in the nuts!" except it goes off every time he hits the kick button, whether it works or not, so rogue twitchiness plus stupid macro equals "DAMN IT CLII!!"
Also there's that damn BAM! mod that makes one of our shadow priests yell "BAM! 10,000 Shadow Word: Death crit!" It's really funny when he forgets to turn it off while healing. Heh, and the first time we tried Nalorakk on the PTR, our tank forgot he'd left it on, and had it set to whatever his General chat was, so alllll the people in ZA general chat were being spammed with "BAM! 200 Devastate crit!" and other lameness, and he couldn't stop mid-boss fight to turn it off, sot hey were all mocking the hell out of him. Then he got his chat privileges temp banned for spamming.
Mongoose is the best 2h weapon enchant for warriors/retpallys.
for warriors, sure
ret paladins, not so much, at least not in pvp
uuh, why?
because mongoose gives 4% crit, and a little bit of haste when it procs
savagery gives a constant 70 AP, which always functions
a ret paladin in pvp is never constantly hitting something, mongoose is far too unreliable for an even less reliable proc (4% of critting more, but it's more than possible to not crit at all when it's up)
the haste rating has the added bonus of rage generation for a MS warrior, but paladins only get a very slight increase at a chance of a SoComm proc
Have you ever grouped with a feral using the Alamo mod? Now that is painful.
The fact that this exists and it is probably what I think it is scares me to the core.
In honor of this macro discussion I'm now going to bind "Boo!" to my Psychic Scream.
And then delete it
The really bad thing about the Alamo mod is that every druid is honour bound to begin speaking like Alamo once someone turns the mod on. Which I imagine must get annoying in a raid.

lol HATE: SLAIDE'S MACRO AND SAERIS FOR GIVING IT HIM olol
Wait... what? You guys don't like that?
Hey at least Saeris gave me the option to turn it off and on now. Doing /console reloadui every time I was threatened with a gkick was getting tiring.
Also sorry about the late response, don't usually check the boards on the weekend.
I'm intrigued...what does this macro do?
Considering the comparison to Munkus using SEGUI probably a pretty spam heavy macro when Slaide does basic rogue things.
Back when the Beasts first rolled on Ravenholdt in the 10-19 BG, Munkus had SEGUI spam /s with all kinds of BS as he would get in kill shots, or even just regular hits. If you were anywhere near him your screen would quickly fill up with white text.
This is a damn lie. I've always had my KB procs at 100%, so if I get a lot of kills then you see a lot of procs.
And, at the time, I was trying to find the sweet spot for SoC. I didn't realize at first that it would proc when SoC was cast AND when SoC would proc. Combine that with using 3 abilities in one second and the result is :O
And I spent a lot of fucking time on that SEGUI KB proc shit. I think I'm using 30 or 40 phrases.

Humor can be dissected as a frog can, but dies in the process.
Happy: I figured out my bear can hit 29.9k armor, ~35% dodge, ~20k hp fully buffed, in a 25man.
Hate: I had to figure this out in the worst Gruul's I have been a part of in a long damn time. Me & three friends went on a trial run with another guild, & suffice it to say, we're not going to join them under any circumstances. Three hours of idiocy, & not even half of it was actually spent on doing any bosses. *stabstab*
Hate: In Felwood while escorting the kitty back from the Well of Corruption quest, getting ganked by a 56 Shaman.
Happy: Finding the same Shaman 10 minutes later, afk, totems down, with a 58 warrior standing guard. So I was 54... but that didn't stop me.

Hate: Running SM:Cath with a druid who thinks the proper way to pull that huge fucking cath room is to just run in and see what agros.
Happy: After the mage tries to blame it on my sapping, telling the rest of them to stay the fuck out of the room, and my pulling, even though I was the lowest lvl in the instance (36, the mobs in the cath room are like 38-39) went without a hitch. And I never brought back 10ish guys at once causing a wipe. I believe the most I got was 3.
Hate: People not realizing that those wizards with the ae fuck you up in SM:Cath, and focusing on the assholes with a ton of hp/armor while the wizards just jump around AEing our entire team down.
Hate: Tanks who use AE abilities at all times, "What? Priest is LOM? 1 sapped, 1 blinded, and 1 sheeped mobs, LOLSWIPE!!"
Hate: PuGs
Happy: Stunlock soloing elites. Fuck you myrmidon, you fucked up all my characters to this point, but now it's my rogues turn for revenge. (They actually seem a lot easier now, than when say my warrior was running through, and they'd enrage and rape everyone, but still.)

Whether they find a life there or not, I think Jupiter should be called an enemy planet.
I did it with a hunter with no resilience to mild success last season (~2k from about the second half of the season on) and pretty good success this season now that he's geared up (1900 right now, we've played 125 games or something high like that ). It's not a bad make up at all, but it's also very possible to have a better makeup. Like say Disc priest/hunter.
Hate: my luck so far on the Cooking Daily quest. I still haven't gotten a second recipe.
Hate: my luck getting the Fortitude to Bracer enchant from Steamvaults. I hit Exalted last night. Still lacking. Right now I think I'm going to try one more SV run and if no droppy? No more care-y.
Hope: my RP-server priest is going to hit 44 (my goal for Operation Winter Veil). That means... I can level the PvP-server priest...
Wish me luck: if the server's up tomorrow, I'm going to try the Shartuul event.

I have been begging to go get that and may other instance dropped enchants since the only one who can do +12 agility and stamina to boots is a jerk
So 8 runs is nothing compared to the horror of pugs I have been in for my vain attempt
8 runs? You jest right? Let's not talk about my repeated attempts to get the +5 resist to cloak enchant from Sunken Temple. One of my happiest WoW moments is when that appeared on a trainer.

I used my rogue to go farm for it and transfered it over
I still think the other rogues I was in that guild with were idiots since they could not solo the bartender in BRD or kill the trolls in ST. It took me months to go farm for it I don't know how many it just took forever

In one AB game we had a warlock that had, I kid you not, a four-line yell every time the fucker mounted.
Halfway into the game half the team yelled "WE DON'T GIVE A SHIT!" in return every time he mounted up.
Happy/Hope: My static raid leader (starting Mag this Wednesday (skipping Gruul), onto SSC in a few weeks) got brought on board for a single boss in a TK run and managed to snag a 95DPS dagger somehow. He was originally going to be our Token Hemo Rogue, but now that he has the dagger, he's decided to stay Mutilate-- he asked me and our other Rogue which of either of us wanted to go Hemo, and I said I'd love to if I could scrounge up the gear.
So! I have 21k honor at the moment, and worst comes to worst I can farm 6k (blah) of it tomorrow and buy both the S1 MH/OH. I'd like there to be some other way to put together two 90DPS weapons on such short notice, but there really isn't. <.<
After that, it's one respec and ... wait! Shit!
Meh: Do I even have enough +hit to be the Token Hemo Rogue?

Until I can find a UI that will turn it off if I've said it within 5-10 minutes, I will not do that.
Even if I AM on a PVP server.
Although rezz macros are useful*it's nice that healers know who is being rezzed*.
Happy: 657 DPS on a ZA run as a Frosty. My friend told me "That's pretty much what our Frost mages hit."
(His guild is currently doing attempts on Vashj, with the occasional clear of 3 or 4 TK bosses)
Hope: I know that if given a chance to gear up a bit and prove myself I can earn my place in their raid. The problem is that I need to be given that chance and I'm hoping that they will.
Hate: People continuing to fuck up their constructs on Gorefiend going 4 nights in on attempts now.
Happy: The people who DO know how to do their constructs getting picked first, eeking out a first Gorefiend kill on our very last attempt.
Hillarious: The only person left alive on that kill was my wife. She's a holy priest. At least she was able to rez us.

I haven't fought gorefiend...so maybe i'm wrong but...since when do mobs not go for the healers before the majority of the DPS?

If you want to show effort and improve your chances for both getting into raids, and staying into raids, continue on with that tailoring. You can get 5 epics to greatly boost your DPS stats (shadoweave, spellstrike), though you will need to also build a set with high HP, i'd say 8k buffed for gruul / magtheridon, 9k for tidewalker and some other t5 content is not a luxury, as well as a high hp set should you ever need to tank at maulgar. Chances are there are people in your guild who no longer use their tailoring cooldowns, you could use them to quickly make the shadowcloth/spellcloth with you providing the mats.
On the gorefiend thing, i'm not sure the constructs have a normal aggrolist. they seem to go on the MT relatively often when it goes wrong. That fight just takes time to learn to do well, like Mother and Archimonde, it takes quite a while until the weakest links perform good enough (personally, i'm perfect on archimonde, good enough on mother (~75% survival rate, never run through the raid), but not that great gorefiend, last time i killed 3/4 but had 1 at 20% when my ghost wore out).
