Hmm it looks like three solenoid valves plus a raspberry pi zero plus a cheap relay board and maybe a 12V adapter for power(?) would be, using cheapest components... $44 before tax and shipping?

I'd probably need a few other things, but still, not bad.

It's not $15 where you'd jump in without thinking twice, but it isn't a $1000 piece of specialized lab equipment either.

Yeah, it's not cheap enough for me to buy the stuff myself, but I am going to see if I can get my advisor to purchase the goods. I'll need a couple of other things to get signals from the rig to it (so it opens at the right time), but this is definitely workable, and something I probably have the skills to do. I appreciate your longer post yesterday, thanks again.

Uh I’ve never had weed but I have had several variations of the poppy and let me tell you they do not compare.

You know those pain buttons they give you in the hospital and how it really only allows a dose every few hours?

They put the regulator in for me specifically.

Morphine is... gosh it’s better than everything.

These weren't kids slinging crack on the corner. These were professionals who were doing it. They were just drug dealers in lab coats.

I have complicated feelings about the opioid crisis. Suffice it to say it’s an epidemic wholly caused by lobbyists and sketchy doctors. Unfortunately the response has and will continue to hurt chronic pain patients far more than it stops addiction. Because our entire philosophy about drug enforcement is wrong

They gave me percocet after, which I think is still an opiate, maybe? That hit me good.

But they gave me 10 doses, and my kidney stone only lasted through one. And the other 9 expired, I dunno, 6 months later? And I threw them away.

I always thought of myself as ripe for addiction, but opiates don't seem to do anything for me.

    Yes.

My mom lives with chronic pain that will never go away. So I've never understood why any doctor is worried about her being addicted to pain killers. It doesn't matter if she's addicted. She cannot stop taking them in order to function.

I don't know how to reconcile "the US has an opioid problem because we hand then out like candy" with the stories I've heard both here and in my personal life of people who need serious pain management to function being nearly unable to get their medicines.

Percocet has Tylenol in it too ( aint tryin ta spell the chemical name on mobile)

Tylenol and opiates work in tandem really well. They are like pain receptor blocking thunder buddies

i mostly get anches and pains are all gone, and I am kinda lethargic, and a little warm and fuzzy.

but, like no real like getting off on opiates or huge desire to do more.

    which is probably good.

    For me morphine was like...
You know the feeling you get when you stretch and you get a sort of euphoric feeling in your muscles? Imagine that. All over your body. Hugging you.

    Plus all anxiety is vanquished.

    It’s

    Gosh.

Does anyone have some morphine please

i hope I never need to take opiates.

the good won't be able to balance the bad. I'm definitely the kind of person who'd abuse drugs if I could.
