Hard to "grow up" when it aired on fox weekday mornings, but I caught it a few times.
It was kinda hilarious how they couldn't show Conan killing fools so they instead had his sword reveal that his enemies were snake people and his sword just banished them to another dimension a la DBZ.
The "send you to another dimension" was really a staple of 90s TV, huh.
Humor can be dissected as a frog can, but dies in the process.
The 90's really were a great decade for Basketball, starting with the first Bulls 3-peat and that ridiculous Barcelona '92 Dream Team and continuing into the Shaq Orlando Magic years. But it was just an incredibly engaging decade for Basketball on the whole.
This is a song I heard a lot on late-night XL 106.7 on the way back from Orlando Magic games in the '90s, back when it was Shaq, Hardaway, etc. I was way into it
I didn't know the name of it for years and nobody ever knew what song I was talking about, when I finally found it again in the 2000s it made my heart happy
I'm at work so I can't commit but can someone please link Swat Kats if they haven't already

I want some old mediocre 90s cartoons to come out on bluray.
Gimme a 90s cartoon collection set actually.
I want to spend a Saturday morning eating crunch berries watching I dunno... the where in the world is Carmen sandiego cartoon and the real adventures of Johnny quest. maybe also play some Mario land 2 on an original Gameboy.

Not sure what your first comment is supposed to mean, Munk.
It first aired in 1992, when I was 9 years old.
And TBH their approach worked really well. Having magic weapons that reveal the true forms of the bad guys, AND opens up a portal to hell that swallows them, is the most badass gore-aversion tactic I've ever seen in a 90s cartoon.
It was a lot more weird in DBZ because this was shoehorned in, rather than being written that way.
I don't remember Perfect Strangers enough to compare, but Drew Carey definitely had a ton and leaned into the music a bunch for big dance numbers and such so I believe him about it costing too much. Maybe if they did something akin to Kickstarter to see if it would at least break even first.

They put one season on DVD, and that was it
Quando Omni Flunkus Moritati
drew basically said he doesn't think the audience is big enough to pay for all the music licensing, and that is just maddening to me
He's not exactly wrong. Though Hulu managed to get Perfect Strangers and it had similar issues.

That is a big album, but I think Fat was better. It's just wall to wall with massively iconic tunes.
It’s got some problematic lyrics for sure but man I was blown away as a 19 year old
