OK, now Billy has decided to bring up and describe future things that Woolie hasn't seen or heard about at all, yet.
I think the problem is he has no idea what the game will actually cover.
Which seems like that should be something that gets addressed.
As much as I thought I'd enjoy Billy in the mix, I kind of got turned off when they went on a 15 minute explanation rant and then the characters explained the same thing immediately when they resumed playing the game. Nor when they suddenly started watching actual Naurto episodes...
Ninja Storm 2 is one of the weaker games in the series for what Woolie wanted out of this project. It's clearly meant for people who are already informed. To only play that game would set Woolie up for always being confused about everything, and is still not great even with haphazardly watching episodes in tandem.
So here's a thought that just came to mind, which will never be answered in the actual DMC series.
Bayonetta implies that Dante's mom was an Umbra Witch, who had her demonic pact with Sparda in addition to being in love (also, she created the Bangle/Bracelet of Time). The pendants she gave to Dante and Vergil is suggested to have given Trish a (Eva's) soul. I wonder if the pendant was the same kind that Bayonetta wears in her games, which contain a fragment of the witch's soul and can be used to help a witch come back to life. As I said, this will never be made explicit in either series, but it's a fun crossover thought.
Finished Paigeborn, and now I can go back and restart Dark Souls. After stopping a few minutes in when I realized she'd played Bloodborne first.
Second session, she just spent 30 minutes drinking Estus almost every time she meant to attack. Terrified of every random Hollow, keeps spamming mid roll (and dying in the middle of 4+ enemies) because Bloodborne, keeps getting killed in incredibly stupid ways, got lost while trying to walk through the same exact area three times in a row.
Walks into Taurus Demon with almost no Estus left because of that, completely misses the archers, walks right up to boss and one shots him without breaking a sweat. It's insane.
This is like the third month in a row where they've got no series I want to watch. I just check out a few minutes of the latest Fistlords and the Friendcast videos. Really disappointed in their choice there.

Oh shit!
Does this mean they're going through 3 and 4 too? Yes.

I watch every video, even if I have it shunted into a corner with low audio while I play a game or work. Not to be a Real fan but for completion's sake. I did all of Tokyo Mirage and half of the Banner Saga that way.
Edit: THE GLASS IS BROKEN DOWN INTO FUCKING QUARKS.

enthusiasm for the work doesn't always turn into views though. but given it's naruto, I'd hope it would do better than say, TMS
The ending of DMC1 is So Much.

Its kind of like whipping your back but instead you're fighting shitty helicopters.
"Ooooh. What's with her? Let me guess: redhead, huge tits?"
"...yeah, but, that's not the point."
"Uh huh."
You need to watch the video.
Still working my way through DMC1 LP, in the middle of of episode 7.
