There definitely already is a low budget black and white adaptation of The Color Out of Space. It's ok.
The color was purple.
I agree the the b&w was a bit much, a more subtle desaturating probably would have been better. Might've worked better if I didn't already know the story too, who knows.
Kevin Hart has been rapidly deleting a LOT of his old tweets which contained rampant homophobia and slurs since being announced as hosting the Oscars.
A stand-up special he did from 2010 also had an extended bit about how one of his worst fears was his son turning out to be gay.
The use of slurs and jokes seemed to stop on 2011, right when he first hit mainstream success, so while he could have absolutely learned and grown since then my gut instinct is that he was told to cut it out because it would hurt his career.
Holy shit you aren't kidding
He literally doesn't actually apologize or mention the gay community once
That's a fuckin disaster
god this is the week everyone doubles down, huh? neil degrasse tyson, lena dunham, now kevin

Never double down on a two seven off-suit, guys.
Humor can be dissected as a frog can, but dies in the process.

The color was purple.
But that's a different movie entirely!
(Real suggestion: start out normal saturation, gradually crank it down for the farm scenes. At the end/climax, when the thing is revealed, it's an iridescent swirling blob of everycolor, startlingly vivid among the greys. For any earlier hinting shots of the well, we put in flickers and reflections of same.)

And so I made a terrible mistake. When someone I knew, someone I had loved as a brother, was accused, I did something inexcusable: I publicly spoke up in his defense. There are few acts I could ever regret more in this life. I didn't have the "insider information" I claimed but rather blind faith in a story that kept slipping and changing and revealed itself to mean nothing at all.
he's been accused of inappropriate behavior by several minutes, and he released a kinda self-serving and fairly clueless account of the events
He's been accused for decades by a woman that he allegedly raped a woman while he was teaching in college. If the me too movement hasn't taken him down by now, I'm not convinced that this latest one is going to do anything.

Lena Dunham is the poster child for white fucking privilege.
Her reaction to Odell Beckham not talking to her is the perfect example.
Wait. Emily Blunt is in Mary Poppins?
This is a crisis. I don't much care for Mary Poppins, don't like musicals, but like Emily Blunt a whole bunch
Emily Blunt is Mary Poppins
also Mary Poppins is great
I have to admit, I only saw it once as a child, and the Simpsons variant is way more present in my mind. I just have a very low tolerance for singing in movies

Not everything needs to be adapted and the prose format fits so perfectly that I don't know you could properly do it
I'd rather they develop something new than try tbh
Steam
But they already did it
Well
Alright then
The color was purple.

A few strokes over par, even for her, honestly.
I know he was already kind of in trouble....
Edit: Fucking Jesus.

Was not expecting flashbacks to playing shitty skinhead clubs.

It's so good at that
Like, I think Green Room is great regardless
But if you have been a punk of any sort, it hits fucking hard
Oscars are hostless again.
