If you are looking to unload I would state probably better to barter town/ebay it. All that metal is out of print. I don't mean moved to finecast but out of print. And like a squad of Armageddon Steel Legion is about $50 now.

Sheesh... really? I just don't know how much work it would be to piecemeal all this out and ship it. I've never really done anything like that before.

Good starter novels: The Caiphas Cain books are good reads. Tanith First and Only are also good reads.
I'm reading through the Yarrick omnibus at the moment and it's pretty good.
Really depends on what you're looking for though. Like, what army do you like and want to read more about?
Like, if you want more Inquisition, then the Ravenor or Eisenhorn books are a good bet.
Chaos has the Word Bearers trilogy...
I guess the Inquisitors, I look at the (significant) Warhammer section and it feels like it's just a sea of unfamiliar faces and stories that I'm expected to be caught up on.
You will not get anywhere near a good deal from trading that army to a store for credit. A pittance of what it’s worth. Post on your hobby facebook page or wherever people arrange games to see if anyone wants to buy it locally, shop it around your general area because it’s still gonna be a pain to mail that much metal otherwise.

Colin Ward, painter of the Thousand Sons of Carl Tuttle, who runs the Independent Characters podcast, is interested in buying it.
I have no idea what I should ask for it. I really just want to see it painted by him

This may be a poor point of comparison, but back in August I sold an old OOP all-metal Necron army on eBay. It went for $350, including the shipping, so about $330 after. It consisted of 50 warriors, 16 scarabs, 3 lords, 10 destroyers, and 20 immortals.

Judging from the size of your army alone, you should be able to ask significantly more.
That is a squad. Use this as a base and then do some math on it.

I did something similar to price out those Necrons. Be aware that most Buy It Now listings (that last for more than a hot minute, anyway) tend to be overpriced by some margin, so in the end you'll want to settle on values that you're comfortable with.
Perusing the new CA and the Vigilus book... if you don't want the Sisters beta codex then the CA book is pretty light on content, especially with battlescribe updating point costs.

The LGS I go to near me is doing a 50% off all warhammer stuff until it is gone. They used to kind of do warhammer until a warhammer store opened up near them and took all the warhammer business. They don't have a huge selection but I dropped $302.

My local store is doing $40 off on canis Rex knight boxes. This may have something to do with the 6 unsold boxes sitting on the shelf for a month.
Canis is very bad is probably why. Like very bad

I may have found someone to buy the whole army at once. At a discounted price, but I hate retail work. Always did. And I'm not a good negotiator.
I have to figure out how to ship all this. I'm thinking the foam its in, but that will be bulky, and leave me with old GW cases with no foam. Unless there is a place to buy replacement foam.

I just got one for 60 bucks off ebay for my deathwatch. I am going to use it for a gun platform more than a transport though.
Also bought Harken today. His rules are shit but his model is amazing. I am going to use him just as a jump lord. Also he is primaris sized easily and is on a termi base.

Isn't he just a Warden plus an extra sprue? Might be a decent chance to score a cheap Knight and have a spare character and weapons leftover for kitbashing projects.

If the repulsor isn't that great as far as an actual transport then I don't think I'll grab one. As Space Wolves I have plenty of ways to evaporate enemies and the repulsor seems kind of pricey point wise. Plus I hear Primaris do just fine walking around.
I think I'll just start up a Renegade Knight faction. I bought the Renegade Knights box awhile ago with two knights, still have one, the other is a Space Wolves Knight. I think what I will do for now is get another so I can run 3 or 4 Knights, each a different Chaos god and grab some armigers and then later get a Dominus as Black Legion.
This is only possible because my parents want to get me something for Christmas so I figured why not more 40K stuff. Got a 20% off coupon for the other LGS I go to that has a ton of Warhammer stuff.
Edit: Or I guess I could look into a Tesseract for my Necrons? Damn it.

Its kind of like a landraider. T8 3+ 10 man transport the problem is it only transports primaris. And really most primaris are wanting to stay at some range outside of reivers and kind of aggressors. There is not really a primaris equivalent of ccw termis or zerkers or other similar units you want in a landraider.
I got one because deathwatch is really really good from 15" and shorter depending on the unit. But long range is basically bolter pot shots.
I had my first game of Kill Team just taking a bunch of Primaris Dark Angels I'd painted up and throwing something together really quickly. I had an Intersessor Leader along with a Veteran, a Demolition Gunner with the underslung grenade launcher, 2 regulars, and finally a Combat Specialist Reiver. The Intersessors all have Bolt Rifles (which I understand from this post to have on average the most wounding potential). We played a 4 person Terror mission, and I told everyone in advance this was my first game and that I'd read the rules before but wasn't 100% on them. From my snake eyes deployment roll off I should have been able to tell how the game was going to. My deployment zone was in an alley way between two facing two-storied buildings with cover from only one of my three opponents (the one directly opposite me). The player on my left was playing Guard and had something like 4 plasma guns and 2 meltas on his team, and stacked all his guys to be ready to annihilate me on turn 1. On my right was a Thousand Sun player who put all his -AP weapons and psyker on the upper level of the ruins. I was basically hard fucked right from the get-go. The only chance I had was to use my Veteran's advance move to put him into a position where he could charge all the guardsmen from the other side of the wall they were on thus avoiding overwatch from meltas and plasmas. I explained what I was doing, and my intent behind it, and I set up my model where I understood him to be beyond line of sight from the targets, but come turn one the guard player contested it and we ended up doing a roll off which I lost. My Veteran then got destroyed, and the guardsman wiped out my demo guy and the one regular marine I had on turn 1, and then moved his models so that there was no way for me to move into my only source of cover from the Thousand Suns guy. Two turns later, and despite getting my combat guy and leader into combat, I got tabled. The dice were definitely not on my side as mathmatically I only got 40% of the average wounds I should have. In fact I only hit 3 of the 14 fight rolls I made. The guard player said later that his contesting was a bad call, but that didn't stop him from contesting some other really questionable stuff later in the game which I shut down pretty quick. The kicker for me was an argument he made where another player was trying to choose between two targets; a melta and a plasma gunner. He wanted to shoot the melta gunner, which was blocked completely by a wall, and so settled for the plasma gunner which the guardsman argued was obscured by the melta guy. I kinda stopped the game to argue against that because it was just too ridiculous for me: you're saying a guy he can't see at all is obscuring his target in some way? Not on my watch buddy.
Anyway while the experience was pretty frustrating for me I'm not going to be deterred. I chose DA Primaris because they look awesome. On the other hand it turns out that I do want to be a competitive player, and my team really under-performed. I've got lots of plasma options from the Dark Vengeance box and also a box of veterans that I was planning on making into Fallen (not to play competitively, but just as some window-dressing). Should I start working those in, or disregard this data point considering the compounding facts of poor position, bad dice, and cheesy player?
That sounds more like a people problem than anything wrong with your kill team. Multiplayer games are also never gonna be balanced in any way, someone always gets dogpiled.
So Chapter Approved actually means I can fit literally everything I wanted into a 1750 point Aeldari list. I didn't feel like anything I was taking desperately needed buffs, but, uh, sure, yeah, I'll take that.
So, Wrath and Rapture is up for pre-order (since yesterday), and there's no picture (other than the group picture, where she's stuck in a corner) of the new Slaanesh herald? GW, come on!

It is a little weird, I don't think any of the pre-release articles have had separate pics of the herald, maybe someone at HQ accidentally dropped it under a cabinet and the arm snapped off.
It’s a decent start, though very melee focused. Last year’s battle force box would be a better variety of stuff though, with a tooth/claw half to get some aberrants.
Yeah. I was thinking that too. I dokt mind the CC heavy aspect as I grow the army I can add in more units with guns.I really like the look of the abberrants though and have roughly 300 to spend.

Honestly though nobody knows anything until their codex comes out. They’re getting a bunch of new stuff and everything will see big point changes.
Speaking of which, I picked up some Delaque boxes to make trenchcoat metamorphs. Really want a sunglasses head so I can make the boss into Wesker from resident evil.

So… the new models and background for the Delaque make me really want to run a gang of the sneaky bastards, but I can’t decide if I should roll with the blatant Dark City shout out and give them glossy black trenchcoats, or go with the snake theme and give them dark blue jackets with a hydra emblem on the back that only suows up under UV…

There is a guard kit with a head that has sunglasses, it's the head I used for my stone cold shotgun scout for my Killteam. I'm at work so I don't have pictures but it would make a perfect Wesker.

That was definitely an issue with the players and not how Killteam should've gone. That's primarily what I've been playing these days, and my feeling is that you really can't have more than two players on a single board, and lots of multilevel and LoS blocking terrain is a must.
Also, players really need to not be dicks and make the game unfun with their antics.
