XVI was supposed to be a reboot because there was really nowhere to go after XV. It didn't play well with fans though, who still wanted even greasier buttholes long after the adding more grease had any measurable affect on the buttholes.

Have you ever drawn something digitally? You have to get DEEP in there. Elbow deep in lines shapes and colours. You have to analyze every inch to make sure it looks right. Is this line too straight? Should this be curvier? Does this look better RED or more PURPLE?? Not to mention the references you need to study.
