Builds for 3.6 should be interesting given a "complete balance overhaul of all spells in Path of Exile" as well as 6 new skills and unspecified new supports.

Interesting. I like it so far cause it seems to be an alternative to doing Atlas as an endgame option. Delve could be considered the same but you kinda HAD to Map to get enough sulphite to delve. I'm hoping they fix that problem.

New spell support gems. Spell Focus gives a damage buff to spells you have casted repeatedly within a time frame, Unleash build up power over time so spellcasts can fire multiple times.
Oh wow. Bane is a new chaos skill that applies all linked curses and a DoT in an area, with "benefits for each curse applied." It looks like Contagion on steroids. Could they possibly have designed a skill that appeals to me any more?
Soulrend "unleashes a projectile that weaves towards enemies" and applies a short DoT in an area around it. Yes please.
Kind of makes you wonder how these skills differ from Contagion and Essence Drain, because they sure sound very similar.

As you run zones, each zone will have a small memory to run through. As you do, you collect memory fragments. You then use them to link up paths in the global memory map, or whatever it's called. Once you make a complete path to a reward node, you run that path, going through each zone. So like a long Delve run.
The kicker is, each fragment you place has random modifiers. Once you run a path, all the random modifiers of each fragment are combined and that combined list of mods is applied to the entire run. And there are Scrabble-like spots on the map that double the modifiers of fragments placed on them.
ZiggyD's video shows a helmet with a +3 MS Projectiles enchant at the same time as he's talking about how they've separated the lab enchants from implicits, so you can have both a lab enchant and an implicit on an item at the same time.
So it is basically implied that you can synthesize in such a way as to get insane "lab enchants."

With Bane an Occultist can just apply multiple curses instead of doing Blasphemy reservation, and go MoM with Soulrend or somesuch, allowing for pretty big effective HP. I think the patch notes are going to be nuts with all the spell reworks.
