They're bot games. They're generally free wins anyway. I just like sitting back and going through the motions, but it's not so calming when it's just fighting minions and turrets while the entire enemy team does a square dance on their own Eternal.
Every time I visit this thread I feel personally attacked.
Every time I pop into the call of duty thread, no matter how many years it's been, I get straight-up called a tryhard immediately.
I mean, they're not wrong though.

Honestly, like, I thought I'd be more upset about not having a new Hero in that long, but
S'been fine for me. I dunno, we're still getting the balance patches, we're getting the reworks. I've been having a blast on Chromie and Lucio.
We all knew this was gonna happen, but I don't think we expected it this soon, yeah.
I'm fine with slow release schedules. I quit playing DotA 5 years ago and they've had 9 new characters since then. I've never thought that was a big deal. DotA has a bunch more characters than HotS, though, so I suppose that makes a difference.
A couple of major balance updates per year, along with a hero or two, works well for DotA and I don't see why it wouldn't work for HotS, too.
I'm just surprised at how quickly we went from constant new hero releases to ... basically no new heroes. We originally all thought there was 6 months worth of content "in the pipe" and ready to go, such that the first half of 2019 would feel totally normal, and only after that would things start grinding down and stalling out.

But no, it was pretty much overnight.
I mean, similarly yeah, I'm still playing and enjoying the game. The rate of heroes was never a big concern. I just kind of have whiplash from the sudden speed change :P
I only wish we'd gotten a few more heroes before things slowed down. Mekkatorque (tank), Cairne (tank), Mei (bruiser), Zenyatta (healer), and a zergling swarm (which would somehow be a support because why not).
That's kind of where I am, too. There are still plenty of characters out there that I'd love to see represented. We literally don't have an "actual" Tauren, for example; ETC doesn't really count, in my opinion. I mean, he counts as much as Chromie "counts" as a Gnome. I'd be absolutely over-the-moon about Cairne. Or Rokhan. Or Kargath Bladefist, Anduin Lothar, Danath Trollbane, or Teron Gorefiend. And those are all just playable heroes from WC2 and WC3. That's not even touching the rest of Overwatch (fuck I want Doomfist -- would it kill Blizzard to put more than like 3 black heroes in HotS?*), StarCraft (go ahead and put a proper Goliath unit into my fucking veins -- Goliath D.Va doesn't count), or Diablo (ASSASSIN PLS).
But instead they were scraping the bottom of the barrel with characters "born in the Nexus" like Orphea toward the end.
Don't get me wrong, like she's okay. But there are literally dozens and dozens and dozens of prominent, highly-anticipated characters to go before I'd have ever felt like it were necessary to start making shit up.
Elite Tauren Chieftain (abbreviated as ETC) is an American band comprised of employees of Blizzard Entertainment. The band's virtual alter ego, The Tauren Chieftains, appear in World of Warcraft as a band comprised of members of the Horde, and retain the logo used by the Level 70 Elite incarnation of the real-life band. Their gimmick revolves around writing content that is based on mainly subjects related to the Warcraft universe, though they have more recently extended into StarCraft and Diablo lore as well. The band debuted in 2003 with their first song, "Power of the Horde", which was featured in the credits of Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne.
ETC, as he appears in Heroes of the Storm, is the mascot of that band.
There are an endless number of characters that would be cool, but I think they've basically got all the must-haves. We've all got favorites that are missing but I think anything they add beyond this point is just gravy. So yeah the game is on a clear decline as we knew it would be, but it had a good run and it won't stop being fun to play. I imagine it will retain a passionate community for years to come so you can still find games pretty easily.
naz and imperius are very close, whoever died earlier in the game would probably get it. same takedowns, both leading on 2 categories (though damage taken is weighed less, so the 2 best in teams is better than 1 best in game and 1 best in team).
I think XP soak gets weighted pretty highly as well, and Nazeebo had a fair lead there without being too far behind on hero damage/kills, along with that big pile of siege damage.
I just had a depressing few matches as abathur. You know how one of his big strengths is how that he can soak multiple lanes? I tried to explain to my teammates that that was what I was going to try to do. What do they do? They evenly split themselves up between all of the lanes. Just fuck my shit up.
And I'll bet Dibby's Imperius never got a kill with Gargantuan.
Well earned, Nazeebo!
NO, BUT I GOT A KILL WITH EVERY SINGLE WRATH I CAST SO NUHHH
that ult is seriously busted tho
i never take Armaments unless i'm strictly being focused down super hard and i need the survivability. Wrath just plays into what Impy wants to do so fucking hard, like. would i rather, yknow, mitigate some incoming damage and hit someone kinda hard? orrrrr just fucking stun them and kill them and instantly turn a fight into a 5v4

i mean i could threaten to punch more people in the dick but i dunno how well that'd serve as motivation

Just because he's a joke character.
I can understand why someone would count him as a Tauren, and I have no problem with that.
But to me, he's not.
Give me Cairne, or Baine, or Magatha Grimtotem, even; someone who represents actual Tauren culture.
Oh, that makes sense. He was created as a Hearthstone thingie, right?
