I’m not normally a fan of villain design/narratives, but not only am I a fan here, I’m actually interested in their story arcs!
I’m really looking forward to the villain who’ll be introduced in season four. They’re my fave.
The show also has a neat frission where the heroes are mostly just heroes, the villains are mostly just villains, but the overall society the heroes protect is just screwed up enough to give the villains an understandable point of view.

The heroes are mostly just heroes
And also Endeavor

Eh, I feel like more than a few of the heroes are flawed in several ways. I think one of MHA’s strengths lies in showing that there’s a relatively thin line between what defines someone as a hero or a villain.
Plenty of the heroes have unlikable personalities or disgusting quirks.
I know Endeavor gets a little better in the manga (and I've already passed the point where he's trying to improve) but I don't think I'll ever not think of him as "The Child Abuse Hero"
Is she actually a 5000 year old dragon so she's actually the one robbing the cradle there, if you think about it
The manga directly states she is 21
But if it has to state it...
It's only stated in the volume release. Reading it as individual issues on SJ's website it was absolutely not clear.
It was clear enough to me. Her backstory is introduced with the dark chaotic room that is Standard Manga Shorthand for "this is a young adult who has completely lost control of their life", and IIRC there was, like, a highschool diploma in one of the piles? I had guessed her at about 20 or so. Just, inexplicably short.

Which is fair, that IS his past and he’s not going to be able to completely atone for that.
Overhaul sounds kinda like Mark Hamill and I'm for it

The dub is pretty good, but I still prefer the sub for MHA

I'm so used to the dub that I'm afraid the sub would sound weird to me
Also I feel like Mineta might be even more annoying in the sub. Not based on anything at all.

Part of it is that I am too used to the all-might voices being used for Vegeta/Piccolo so it seems kinda off while the sub All-Might has this weird kind of energy behind it.
Not saying that Sabat does a bad job, it's just that the sub has this really perfect fit.

I finished the first season and they nailed the landing at the end.
Oh buddy you ain't seen nothin yet.
This just amps up my excitement.
I now have a list of points in my head where I'm wondering if you come running to the thread with "oh man, do you remember X part." I wonder how many I'll get right.
If I had a quirk that tied into me being stressed, I would probably be extremely fucking powerful

I wish Tsuyu got more highlights in the recent stuff, but her interclass fight was good enough. I really like her moveset, and her character's bluntness is endearing.
I wonder if the ones in class A who haven't had a focus will get theirs soon.
LEAD CHARACTERS SO FOCUS IS BY DEFAULT
Deku, Uraraka, Iida, Todoroki, Bakugo, Kirishima - deffo got their spotlight
GOT THEIRS
Momo - almost like Kirishima, but he got his focus fighting villains, while hers are still in training, so I wish she'd have an active battle with villains soon-ish. (Well, manga spoilers....)
Tsuyu - had hers early in the series, and is close enough with the leads to have a speaking role in stuff. Plus in group scenes she always has a good showing for herself
Tokoyami - roughly on par with Tsuyu, but he's got the comedic chuunibyou thing going for him
Mineta - as much as we hate him, the mangaka's (or editor's) need to put fanservice in and someone crude enough to act on his impulses means we'll always get scenes of Grapeboy. But he's got no big character development either.
SOME FOCUS
Ashido - no big fight scenes yet, but she's got a flashback chapter to her already. She should be on the rise in the future
Aoyama - got his, oddly enough, and I suprisingly loved his little arc!
Earphone Jack - manga spoilers! Jiro gets hers!
Kaminari - he doesn't have much development, aside from his Wheeeeeey, but he's always near the forefront somehow.
NEEDS FOCUS BADLY
Tailman, Tentacole, Anima, Sugarman, Sero, Invisigirl - needs their own character development arcs. Realistically though, I'm a bit doubtful they'll get it. Though I feel Sero/Invisigirl seems to have the character type who'd have an unrequited love story arc, for some reason.
Damn, the mangaka sure has enough material to last him a good couple of years.
I agree with all of that! I’d especially like to learn more about Shoji. The School Briefs so far contain the same distribution of focus on the students as the anime/manga.
Apparently there’s a decently big focus on Tsuyu in one of the OVAs, pity I can’t watch them!
I also liked Aoyama’s little arc. It was awkwardly funny enough to provide some relief between villain arcs.

I doubt invisible girl will get an arc because she's practically a gag character

There’s also Hawks’ role...

Edit: Woo trailer!
...I’m not a fan of Overhaul’s voice.
Do you think it needs to be o-, uh, redone?
I do really like most of the cast dub, though. Especially Midoriya and All-Might.
but if I got adjusted to watching DBZ subbed, I guess I can adjust to any show

I want you to know that this is also the same for you. Nobody around me cares about any of the stuff I'm into for the most part.

He’s so great/terrible
The kids were hyped to watch Bakugo vs Todoroki tonight. They turn on the episode and Anya starts dancing around. “The intro is so fucking great!”
