You know they’ve run low on character names for servers when they’ve got down to Mankrik and Pagle. Where are the Gamon or Mr. Pinchy realms?
Anyway, I’d be down to roll around with forumers if y’all are doing a more a casual thing, or allow for casuals. Has a time zone been decided on?
I feel they have tons of names just of the names they picked the only one I had no idea about was Myzrael I knew who the giant was in Arathi Highlands as I remember them from Deepholm in Cata when I came across them just I forgot the name.
Still with people in game saying they don't plan on playing on a pvp server I really question why they put up 6 pvp servers. I have a feeling they are going to look at all the people signing up to save names on the pve ones and freak out about the lack of pop on the pvp ones
Why they don't wipe Barov and throw it up there is beyond me I would play on that server.
I went and looked at the realm lists on the Wow website there is a lot of combined servers far more than I knew {I have not really gone to the wow site since late cata/early mists. The culture of that place was not for me}

I entirely missed WoW at launch since I was big into Guild Wars 1, and the idea of going back to WoW plus recapturing that early era jank has my attention in a big way. Between Cataclysm and a bunch of other stuff, I entirely bounced off trying to play WoW the last time I did
I was in the Corps when it came out I got the classic collectors edition I was kia'd a little over 2 weeks later. So when I awoke from my coma into my recovery while tripping balls on pain killers I played wow. Just people making jokes about that era really hit me hard as it feels like a whole other life. There is a lot more to this era for me as my recent firing from work as also hit me knowing where I was 12 years ago and how it's even less of a questionably positive choice for me now}
Dwarves get stoneskin which is really good since poison is every where
Human are the best race in the game tho sword/mace mastery which are the two best weapons types, rep, and I'm pretty sure they have every man for him self so you get a 2 min CD break that doesn't share a cd with the PvP trinket

in 1.13 they have Perception instead of EMFH.. which is pretty much just-as-good, particularly depending on what class you play

humans are pretty broken. really all alliance races have ridiculously good abilities on almost every dimension.... night elves can universally stealth at will.. and that's considered the worst one
Bloodlust is tbc, will of the forsaken is just fine nice to have imo
Orcs are good cause of hardiness bloodlust and command, axes are shitty but better then nothing!
Trolls might have bows heh
Trolls do have bows, which I still think is odd. I guess Horde needed something since they gave guns to Dwarves and couldn't just give all the skill bonuses to Alliance.
+5 ranged weapon skills don't matter at all in vanilla, though. There's no glancing blows with ranged weapons and weapon skill reduces the amount of glancing blows, which is why it's so good for melee. Blood Fury is also bad in vanilla because it mortal strikes you for like 30 seconds. Berserking only works if you're at low health. Basically every horde racial is poop from a butt except Hardiness, WOTF and War Stomp.
Throwing is literally a throwaway skill used to give melee classes an option to pull.
Cept when rogues get deadly throw finisher that 1 shots mages

We're going casual, even a few hours a week is more than enough. Most people won't hit 60 until several months in.

Also the Horde gets Bloodlust, Tremor Totem, and Windfury.

IIRC vanilla Trolls have a throwing weapon skill bonus. Yeah.
Also Regeneration, which is a whole meme

PvE is bigger than PvP, plus people have had enough time to figure out that actually Alliance racials are pretty fantastic
I imagine all the PAA guilds that were on Alliance during vanilla would be the biggest reason for the bias.
