My coworker just rated a person she interviewed a "1" (highest rating), but then proceeded to describe him as preferring a masters to a job, talking over her during the interview and indicating a hatred for working with people he thought weren't as smart as him.

Sounds like youns aren't on the same page for what that grade is for. Perhaps she is judging just his skill and proficiency without considering personality.

I find that the evacuation drills in a school are more traumatizing for me than for the students. Kids are just chatting with their friends happy they aren't in class, while I'm having to imagine what I'll do in a terrible situation. Blegh.
