I remember playing the first Dragon Warrior, and not having the attention span needed to grind after a certain amount of time. So, never actually beat that game.

You didn't have the attention span for 30 minutes of game play?

This video is pretty amazing if you haven't seen it. Spoilers obviously.

It's been so long, I don't think I even have a grudge vote or don't remember if I do. I do know that I am gonna be in for a huge ride.

Voting for someone I haven't voted for on day 1 before, MrPaku.

If I did vote for you day 1 before, i don't remember it.

Got the black screen on twitch all day, making work unbearable. Tried all sorts of fixes, nothing took. Hopefully it works itself out tomorrow.

I’m not familiar with the original game but the OP says the chance of injury will decrease as the group size increases.

If we pick 3 locations to each randomly pick, we would be able to almost ensure that we would have a large group at those 3 locations:

Like, say everyone randomly decide to go to one of:
    North Cave
    Swamp Cave
    Mountain Cave

That should get us a good spread over each place and hopefully clean out the items at those places, then we move on down the list or whatever.

    I'm worried about two things:
-Mafia have a power along the lines of "bad thing happens to everyone at X"
-Opportunity cost by leaving places unexplored.

I can't do that! It's too clichè. Altough I am a sucker for expect the unexpected. Though, if you expect the unexpected, the unexpected becomes expected, so does that make the expected......unexpected?

If there's any consistency w/ the game some locations will be functionally inaccessible in the form of being very unsafe without the loot from others.

I like the sound of this. Even if one location gets compromised we can potentially fully loot the others, and the other non-cave locations sound like places you'd go to -later- in an adventure.

Yeah, of course. That's why i'm not even super convinced myself yet. At least they won't know where a particular person would be. Some sort of plan has to be better than random, right?

It's as if I didn't have any time to think about this during my workday.

FWIW I believe they're essentially listed in the order you're supposed to tackle them in the game and seem to remember Hauksness being effectively a gear check as opposed to inaccessible. Progression's not as rigid as a Zelda or Metroid to my recollection.

Feel free to google up a walkthrough and check like I'm gonna later, though.
