Just got a trim and a haircut, and so did my doggo!
Humor can be dissected as a frog can, but dies in the process.
Are you kidding? Mutton chops are fucking awesome!

We've got a security guard who sometimes comes in to cover for our regular evening guy, and he's got the most righteous snow-white mutton chops. The kind that connect to a big bushy moustache with no beard.
None of us can remember his real name because we've all called him "Logan" for so long, and now it's way too late to ask.
I just feel like if I'm going to do the mutton chops look for a while, I'm going to need a bowler hat to go with it. And maybe a smoking pipe, or some goggles to sit on top of the hat.

As my show is now over, I can finally start regrowing my beard! Looking forward to something reasonable by the end of the month.

I need to set up some kind of alert to remind me that it feels really nice when my mustache is trimmed up off my lips. I always put up with it for way too long, and am always surprised at how pleasant it is when I chop it back.

End of month beard state (starting from the shortest clipper attachment at the end of October). Winter beard is in effect and oils are required.
My god. How do you keep it looking so glorious and not like, wiry, bushy and generally unkempt? Do you regularly trim the longer bits? Oil and brushing/combing?
Mr. Fantastico thinks I look better with a goatee, so I cleaned up a bit this morning. I've also been trying to appear more "professional" at work, but I balk at the idea that it means anyone should be "clean-shaven", so I went with the middle road.

Was wondering when you'd show up.

I took this pic the last time I shaved/trimmed down and I have to admit that the longer I left the look, the more I was getting comfortable with it.
But unless I'm doing a steampunk cosplay, there's almost no reason to even do this look other than to be weird, right?

You have fallen into my trap.
This is the land of Death!
This is December!
Occasionally I'll get it trimmed up or put oils and waxes into it, but usually I let it go wild
I can't grow a good mustache to save my life though, unless I want a pencil-thin mustache, the Boston Blackie kind.

Check-in Time! Before pic is in the quote.
Didn't seem to grow as fast as before, though. Or was too terribly itchy, either.
Gonna trim that bad boy down some very soon. Probably get a haircut, too.
