I used to bring my Switch to work because I could play it while on hold and then in my new position I would often have like an hour or so at the end of the day where I had nothing left to do.
This is no longer the case and won't be for the foreseeable future >_<
I also played it a bit at home on the TV in my bedroom but I rearranged the room and until I mount a shelf above the TV hooking consoles up to it isn't really gonna happen.
My vision is apparently bad enough that I really don't like playing for long periods on the portable screen, even though it is quite large. Of course, I'm setting it up with the kickstand on tables and using a pro controller, not holding it up to my face like most people probably do. Actually handholding it is a no go for me because I always end up holding it in my lap and craning my neck down to look at it for long periods of time and I can literally feel how bad that is for me when I do it.
Still fucking love the platform though, even without making use of the handheld mode, just on the merits of the game library.
Yeah I do sometimes wish for a bigger screen. The older handhelds were almost better because their smaller width meant you could hold it closer to you with your arms comfortably tucked close to your body, making the screen size work out better.
The best exclusives for Switch are clearly designed for TV users first, and portable users second.
Breath of the Wild, Super Smash Bros, etc are not portable games. Font & UI scaling are way off for portable mode.
I really need to get a TV to see how it looks docked. I feel like I'm missing out. But we both treat our switches like gigantic Gameboys. Hehe.
Either I have a nightmare, which sucks. Or I have an awesome dream, which means waking up sucks. Or I have a super weird dream in which can go either way but usually still sucks.

On the drive up it was lapping up against the M90 motorway embankment. It won't flood it because the motorway is quite a bit higher than the water, but usually the Earn is something you can see off in the distance at that point
Yeah and it isn't as bad here as it is on the west coast or in Wales. It's not so much the volume as the fact that it literally has not stopped raining for over a week now
To give a sense of scale, the Kelvin at Torrance is not a big river. I've waded across it while walking the dog before, albeit a little further upstream

I think Cinders has claimed it through common-law statutes

This is near home:
What you see on the right there is not the river bank but the top of the three metre high flood defence embankment
This is near where I am now:

Best decision would repeat.
