This is an utterly flawless album, I still have the "red" release version with the live tracks.
(Sadly, I don't think they're very good live, they don't have that same visceral sound.)
Heard this one a lot back in the 90s, but I don't think I knew the name of the song until a few years ago when it popped up on a Pandora station or something.
This album is still amazing and I related to this song way too much and definitely cried on the bleachers at a middle school dance to it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rZoD8JEFjAE

Okay, I finally have a thread in which to ask this question. Does anyone have any memory of "Do You Right" by 311? Do You Right
I was introduced to this song while part of my high school's steel drum band (you read that correctly) We did a no-shit steel drum cover of this song and it was awesome. Since then, any time I ask anyone if they know the song all I get are blank stares. I know it isn't one of 311's commercial hits, but for it to not register on the collective radar of the 90s is a bridge too far.
The happy slam dance song!
Up until I stopped following them a decade ago they still played it all the time live.

Double posting because I recalled my favorite music moment of the 90s
I was in the car with my mom who was very polite and set if to dc101 or maybe HFS, I can't recall. Probably HFS. anyway, Nirvana's cover of 'Lake of Fire' came on and as we listened, she looked so agitated. I knew good and well she hated it, but I asked what's wrong anyway

Piranha got some radio play as well. Plus, it led to the formation of The Polyphonic Spree.

Every time I mention this song/band I am morally obligated to point out that the lead singer is Bob Dylan's son:

Unfortunately, it's their one that isn't available on vinyl at a price I consider reasonable.

It may be the most successful Dutch musical act, don't know how you'd weigh it to Tiesto.
