    You can get Dagger (originally Princess Garnet Til Alexandros XVII) as a party member after clearing the Evil Forest section near the beginning of the game.

    Well if we want to get down into it, Phantasy Star has techniques and it has magic

    Foi is a technique for shooting fire at stuff, Flaeli is magic for shooting fire at stuff

    I really wanted to like 2, but I think all the cruft that had built up over the decade before it was localized made it a really unwieldy new player experience.

    Currently, New Genesis is pretty fucking barren and feels more like a demo than a proper game

    I think it's worth checking out but there's not really a lot there yet that you can't blow through the entire thing in a weekend

    i had the same problem, this feels way easier to get into but it's a little sparse for content rn (not a bad thing tbh)

    okay, so you can play regular PSO2 with NGS characters and I need some more battle level or whatever, gotta level up, but that means just like, grinding

    if I go on regular PSO2 and do missions, will my progress carry over?

    There’s a PSO 1, episode 1 and 2, and then there is a PSO 2

    Yeah right now all NGS is is a few story missions separated by fairly significant gear score or whatever requirements

    So lots of grinding
