took me about thirty years to realize I had done this, fortunately all our kids were fine.
Fun fact, incest is highly unlikely to result in offspring with genetic defects for the first generation. It's the second generation onward that starts getting them, like those royal family trees where there are no branches
I really like that they went all non traditional classes in 3. Going to make an all zodiac party, G/Z A/Z Z/M with a F/W to bind stuff and get that sweet, sweet exp boost. never actually used a farmer before
I got 2 as well, so the real dark souls has begun. plus I'm going to replay 3 afterwards just to get the full experience
since 3 never got remade my copy is worth like hundreds of dollars
Really? Too bad I never played it or 4, despite owning them. Just bought em to play after I finished 2 and never did, then lost them. Still in the boxes, never opened.
yeah, 3 in particular is valuable. I looked around and it turns out I'm sitting on over a thousand dollars worth of ds games, but I don't think I can bring myself to sell them.

incest is super good, actually
it keeps the bloodlines nice and pure and makes sure all of our wealth stays in the family
Adding my voice to the recommendations for Tunic. I'm a few hours in so far, and very impressed by how evenly the discoveries manage a mix of "Oh I had no idea I could do that this opens up SO MUCH" and "Oh fuck you hiding the path behind that corner that woulda saved me so much time"
Tunic has a checkpoint system like dark souls, where you rest at certain places and when you die you pop back at those places, rather than say, outside a boss room or whatever. It has a 3 hit combo for most weapons, and some enemies are tanky enough that you won't hit stun them out of their attacks. There is a dodge roll with invincibility frames, but you cannot cancel attacks into it. This is my objective difficulty review.
It was hours in before I felt any of the fights were hard hard, there's a lot of souls-y mechanics that warrant that descriptor but I wouldn't say it's at that level of difficulty .
Today one of my coworkers was talking about one of her daughter's friends is in 9th grade, and somehow people found out her parents are fifth cousins and she was teased so much they pulled her out of school. Fifth cousin isn't anything! Kids don't even respect you're permitted to marry your fourth cousin under Canon Law, thanks John Calvin

If you're second cousins you're basically strangers.
Fifth cousin might as well be another planet.

Some very quick back-of-napkin math tells me that everyone on planet Earth is everyone else's fifth cousin. I'm sure this math is accurate, no need to waste your time double-checking it.

oh also wizard society is dying because of general incompetence and because there's like, 30 pureblood families and they all kinda marry between each other, so eventually they're either gonna have some Hapsburgs or the Kwisatz Haderach.
it's also extremely confusing that there's any human/wizard pairings at all considering at no point in the franchise does it indicate that wizards have any remote interest in living in the regular world

it's largely to keep the wealth and power in a small familial sphere
I guess I'd call it moderately difficult. I had multiple deaths on most of the bosses. Probably not quite Dark Souls hard.
shelbyville had dibs on all the hot cousins
