Here's a really wholesome video, bunch of streamers and YouTube creators cheer on Ethan from CrankGamePlays as he wins. Including Mark, Jack, and Ross.
They look so clean!
And the wait for Sora continues (probably indefinitely)
Nah I don't think so. Sora isn't really a "Disney" character. As long as they aren't making amiibos of Mickey or Donald or whatever I think they'll be fine getting permission.

It's been nearly two years - every other character's Amiibo was announced long before now. Plus Sakurai went out of his way to say it's very possible we might not be getting every single Amiibo. I think I'd put money down on Sora not happening.
*shrug* I mean, Sora was announced way after all the others. There hasn't really been an opportunity to announce an amiibo since he was the last character (whereas most of the last few got announced during his reveal). There probably is some extra negotiations involved here (I mean, it's not just Disney but also Square-Enix so there's multiple 3rd parties) so it might take longer than most. And without a relevant event they might just kinda wait until either a Kingdom Hearts thing or just "it's gonna be out soon" to announce. But I have a gut feeling it's still gonna happen. Could possibly not, but this is the company that got permission to put Goldeneye 64 on their Switch virtual console thingy :P
Also Sakurai's statement was, IMO, more a disclaimer. "Hey, there's a chance we can't make this happen" rather than "we definitely can't make this happen."
Dan was trying to eyeball the hand animations, whereas, from the sound of it, Arin literally just rhythmically tapped "left, up, left, up, left, up" etc. Which may have been the intended way to do that section.
A good start, I enjoyed this first episode. I wonder how much of this game they’re going to do. Obviously not everything, I’m sure a lot of the side quests will not be done.
I mean, I'm sure they will beat it at least. They did with BotW. I imagine they will do all the main story stuff and then whatever rando stuff they bump into on the side that they feel like doing.

I am wanting the pyra/mythra amiibo very badly. Unfortunately can't afford it at the moment. If Best Buy would finally have them pre-orderable I'd use my BB card to grab them. Maybe it's a sign that I really don't need them.
They need to have someone say “You must die!” Then it would be perfect.
Someone notably says "Good!" in the trailer, so I feel like the reference jokes are inevitable. I'm just wondering if this will become a Sharknado thing where they try TOO hard and it becomes much less funny as a result.

Mine have been waiting international departure from Melbourne Airport since Tuesday. Ironically I will be in Melbourne by the time they finally arrive and I will probably see them in stores and have the pangs of fomo but I must resist. I must resist.
If you want to know if it’s safe to watch TotK, here’s what they’ve done in ~18 episodes, spoiler-free.
Rito regional phenomenon, visited Gordon City, TWO whole sky view towers, and a smattering of shrines.
Seriously, that’s it.
It’s gonna be a long ass playthrough.

lmao is JonTron even around these days
I really loved those initial early times and thought they were infectiously funny, but also I would have thought him dropping off the deep end would have tanked his channel already

The thing about JonTron is that he's at least wise enough to just make general interest internet comedy style videos, and he's good at that, so they are very popular. He saves his completely unhinged racist conspiracy theory stuff for random Chud podcasts and Twitter posts.

He has had no real connection to Game Grumps since his departure but he still does the same kind of videos he did before he started with Game Grumps, is lavishly sponsored to do so and still gets several million views per video. The main thing compared to his alt-right contemporaries is that he's smart enough not to say the quiet part out loud(well, not too loud) so he's still doing more than fine. I would not be surprised if the vast majority of his viewer base isn't even aware of his viewpoints compared to anyone on say these forums.

Yeah I get the sense that his cultural footprint is large enough on the internet that people online will occasionally make a Flex-Tape reference without any awareness whatsoever about the person behind it all

ho ho!
We now return to your scheduled programming.
Ohhhhh, let's go?
Yeah I posted a clip from his fight and the Twitter reactions to his win, and then Shadow commented on it.
Harley is a massive massive man. His fight with John was really wild.

Gamestop seems sold out but was able to get one from Best Buy
ProZD is Eagle and Flak, the cast is stacked.
It's been so long since this playthrough, good to see clips from it!
Ben is back with the boys!
Posts made before a disaster.
Recommended for those who like Dan's adventure game episodes. Enhanced imo by Arin being unfamiliar with the movie.

Fun conversations.
It does honestly feel like it's been much longer.

Just watched this yesterday, recommended if you missed it.
